The camper performed well and met our expectations, except for one thing, no heat. Owner knew we were going to have cold bites, and I asked about the heater and he explained to me how to turn it on and off. I should have demanded that he demonstrate it that it worked. I didn’t and it did not work throughout the entire trip. I communicated with him several times and attempts to remedy the situation. He was helpful, but nothing worked . When we got back, I asked him to turn the heater on and he could not and our best guess was the thermostat was broken. Using the service requires reliance that the RV owner provides working equipment. Even if I discovered that the heater didn’t work when I was picking up the RV, there was little I could do. I could refuse the rental, but I was already out $1500 in fees to the festival that I paid because at the last moment, I could not find a replacement RV I am 70 my friend was 75 and having heat and an October festival was a major requirement for us. The rental service provides no remedy for this. Also, it would’ve been helpful. The real Service had a PDF file explaining all the things you have to do inspection wise when renting and returning the RV I wish I was better prepared instead of finding all the steps as I click it on the phone. Their service leads you to making the rental but not clearly stating ahead of time all the steps required. Beware. Again, other than the heat the RV performed as expected and no complaints.
