2013 Other Reyo
This 2013 Itasca Reyo comes ready to share the RV lifestyle with both new and experienced RVers alike. Rental comes with additional amenities at no extra charge. This motorhome is perfect for families and friends to make memories and enjoy the great outdoors. This class A is short in length (~25ft), but not lacking on space, storage or comfort! Shorter size has many advantages, as it is easy to drive, class “C” license okay, and has great maneuverability! Better ability to traverse those narrower curvy roads and byways and reduces Road Stress when compared to driving a larger RV. Side cameras when changing lanes and a backup camera assist the driver as well. The shorter length meets many of the size restrictions of our State and National Parks and will fit in any RV park... many more spaces for a shorter RV. There are 2 slide outs for extra roominess and captain's chair for the driver and passenger. Did we mention the bed is stay-open bed, family will sleep comfortably while being on the road.
A large sized power awning for a comfortably shaded outdoor area. The RV comes with additional amenities at no extra charge such as custom removable carpet that can be removed to expose the vinyl flooring--stay way during the winter and cool during the summer. Fully stocked with:
• linens
• towels
• kitchen utensils
• cleaning essentials
• dishes (set of 4)
• wine glasses
• coffee maker and coffee mugs
• portable grill
• folding table
• 4 camp chairs

Awesome contact from the owners and a fun experience at an extremely reasonable value. Wholeheartedly recommend this vehicle.
Tony and Minh are friendly and communicative hosts. The RV was described accurately per the listing details. Tony and Minh delivered the RV and walked me through how to properly use it. They showed me where everything is, and how to empty the gray & black tank and how to fill the water tank. I explained the site we will be at did not have direct hookups and that generator use was permitted only during specific hours of the day in 2 hour increments. They explained the difference of the engine battery and house battery, how to charge the house battery whether in motion or at camp, etc.
Upon receipt, however, the condition of the RV was not as I expected. It appeared the attempt to turn over the RV for the next guest was rushed. There was a musky smell from the previous trip it recently came from, and I discovered used cleaning rags underneath the sink in the waste basket.
Since driving the RV is new to me, and safety being my primary concern while transporting my family on this trip, I’ve asked multiple times if the RV was properly maintained after each rental/before each guest. The RV was delivered to me with a driver-side headlight bulb that was non-operational, both front tires appeared low in pressure, the PSI measured close to half to what the PSI (80) is listed on the tire.
The RV had a full 24 hours direct hook up to power on my property to charge the battery and to cool the refrigerator & freezer. The freezer managed to get cold, however the refrigerator never was able to get cool enough to confidently store perishable foods. Prior to departure, I’ve disclosed multiple times to the hosts the refrigerator was not getting cold. They kept replying the fridge will get cool once we store our food in there. That was not the case. Even after leveling the RV, resetting the breakers/GFCI, and checking all fuses to ensure none were blown. The refrigerator never was properly operational. We had to resort to storing ice packs in the fridge to keep our food cool. Luckily we had a separate cooler with dry ice that was able to freeze the ice packs as they thawed out in the fridge.
We were traveling with others that are familiar with RV camping and have instructed me to turn all outlets, fans, AC, and power consuming items off (with the exception of the refrigerator/freezer which was kept on “auto”) so the house battery does not run low. 1/2 way into the trip the house battery failed to start the generator during the 2 hours we are allowed to run the generator. I was able to successfully jump start the house battery the first time.
With a little over 24 hours left into the trip the house battery fails once again, and is unable to start when we tried to jump start it. This left us with no power whatsoever to charge our devices, run AC, and to turn on the house lights. We resorted to using our lanterns in order to light the interior. Even after turning on the engine and switching the battery to the House battery, it still failed to charge itself.
Lastly, I was able to refuel multiple times on the trip - hopping in/out from the driver side. But when it came time to fill up before hitting the road back home, the driver side door failed and would not open. Manually locking/unlocking it did not work and the door only opened halfway on the top part, almost as if the latch was stuck on the bottom part.
Overall, the host did their best to deliver on expectations and fell short. Tony and Minh were communicative in terms of replying to my texts/calls, but unfortunately majority of which was regarding the lack of function of the RV itself. We were fortunate to be with multiple families on this trip to ensure we had sufficient resources to get through the remaining time at camp.
Prior to delivering the RV to the next guest, I recommend all basic maintenance is completed, headlights operational, battery life is sustainable, tire pressure at recommended PSI, and refrigerator properly cooling.
