Don't leave thick blankets or pillows in the tent when you break camp--it won't close right. 4. Clean the pots and pans and dishes with soap and water before you put 'em away. 5. Make sure you use the included tie downs to secure the awning if it gets windy. We'll brief you on everything else when we do the before-takeoff checks. You'll have to sign a few things as well but we can do all that when you get here.

Peter communicated well during the process. A few days before the rental. He sent me an explanatory document with links of How-to-Videos to watch (These are waaay important. The videos make it look so easy but it's not). When I went to pick up the trailer, peter took the time to show me how to setup and break down, pointing out how to use the electrical, water heater, etc. He was very thorough. This trailer is pretty cool. We attended an 2 -day off-road gathering near Orlando, and it was a huge attraction. I got nicknamed the "Cool Tent Guy". The trailer came stocked with just about anything you could need for cooking and cleaning. Peter also provides a comfortable outdoor loveseat, nice camping chairs, and a folding table, all of which allowed comfy lounging under the trailer's batwing awning. The trailer has a huge refrigerator/freezer, a shower, and a private area for a porta-potty/shower, all of the comforts of home! Unfortunately, on the second night is the rental, we realized the freezer had quit working, so we lost some of our frozen goods, but the refrigerator stayed cold. Peter was accommodating in diagnosing the problem, which was a dead battery. Luckily we were able to borrow a generator, and everything was up and running again. These things happen, and I don't fault Peter. There was also a problem with the showerhead, this issue was pointed out beforehand, along with a workaround, but in the end, it made the shower impractical to use. We did have hot running water at the hot kitchen sink, which was fine. Peter was very concerned, so I'm sure he will have these items remedied for the next rental. Due to our lack of experience, packing this thing up was a real bear, and it took us about an hour and a half. I unknowingly had lowered the trailer support without lining up a pin and bent the flange. We I realized what I had done, I felt terrible, but Peter was very understanding and said he would be able to fix it. This trailer would be awesome to take fishing and camping away from it all. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to go "Off-Grid."
