The Great White Whale

Our Van was designed to maximize stealth and privacy. The only windows are at the back, but they can be completely covered when needed by lightweight black inserts, and there is a curtain behind the front seats. There are no external bike racks or other signs of RV living except the fans on the roof. We have camped across Canada and the US on downtown streets and gravel roads without incident. It has only 75,000 km and has new brakes and rotors. Bedroom: The bed is a full size comfortable double bed that runs across the van. It comes with 4 pillows, 2 cushions, a duvet and sheets. There are two small bedroom lights at either side of the bed. Kitchen: The Ikea counter, sink, and cabinets are spacious with plenty of room for storage etc. There is a Coleman stove equipped with propane canisters; a Dometic 55 litre CRX fridge, kitchen utensils, and cooking basics. There is a sink grey water tank , pots and pans, and cleaning supplies underneath the kitchen sink. Dining: There is a fold up table for dining or work. A small storage box serves as one seat and a portable seat as the other. We also provide a portable fold up table for outside eating that is stored in the “Garage”, underneath the double bed area and accessible by the backdoors. Garage: Housing the electrics, water tank and the pump in the garage provides plenty of storage room for two mountain bikes, camping supplies and extra food. Water: There is a 75 litre storage tank over the right rear wheel and a 5 litre hot water tank under the sink. A shurflo pump provides very good pressure for the sink and indoor shower. Shower: The indoor shower with hot and cold water discharges grey water through a hose under the van. Toilet: A portable Dometic 5 gallon chemical toilet sits in the shower for privacy. Cooling: Two ceilings fans provide excellent air circulation for sleep and cooking. One fan can be directed upwards while the other is directed down. The entire van is insulated with New Zealand sheep wool insulation. Electical System: A 100 AmpHour Lithium battery provides excellent power for lights, pump, fans, hot water, and charging. It is charged by two solar panels and by the vehicle’s alternative while driving. Upon Pick-Up: Owner will go through an orientation (allow 30 minutes). Owner will present you with an instruction manual Other Conditions: No Pets Allowed All damages will be charged to the renter. Any tickets, towing or other charges incurred while using the van will be charged back to the renter.
