Camper was clean and in pretty good shape-some wear and tear, but nothing you wouldn’t expect renting a used camper. Host was 25 minutes late for the pickup, and we had to call them to check on them because they didn’t let us know. We carefully took photos and videos of everything-except the tow cables. So of course, that’s where the problem was. I’ve been towing boats and trailers all my life, and I did everything right, including a double check to make sure the cables didn’t drag. The host confirmed everything was fine when I dropped off the camper-they were towing the camper to another site, so he even had to handle the cables to hook them up to his vehicle. All good. However, 24 hours later, they claimed the cables that were fine when I dropped it off were damaged. They charged us $100 for a $30 cable. Not worth arguing over $100 and again, I documented the camper, not the tow cables, so we couldn’t prove where the damage came from even though he handled the cables and signed off when we dropped off the camper. So we paid it. But we will not be renting from them again.

It was perfect for my husband and I. Comfortable bed, good a/c. We were meeting family to spend a few days together. Was great to come back to a cool place to finish out our day. They were kind enough to even provide a small doggie bed to our Cesar. Even set up the black stone for our cooking needs, it’s small but quite comfortable . Very thoughtful. Would definitely do it again.
