RV queen in bedroom sleeps 2 adults, over-cab bunk sleeps 1 teen or 2 children (max weight 200lbs), couch becomes a twin bed (1 person), and dinette converts to short twin (5' length) for 1 child. Caroline, or "Carrie", was the largest and longest single-axle Airstream Caravel Travel Trailer manufactured and sold in 2022. Though a tow vehicle with only 5,000 pounds (fully loaded) of tow capacity can haul it, it sleeps two adults on a comfy 80"x54" bed (length of a queen-sized) bed in the front compartment and two smaller persons (children, adolescents, some teenagers) in the convertible dinette lounge & bed nook featuring a 75′′ x′38′ sleeping area. The rig features an excellent LPG furnace that ports lovely warm air into the main compartment, sleeping area, and bathroom, and which also heats the undercarriage water and sewer storage tanks. Carrie has efficient and fairly quiet air conditioning by way of an external top-mounted HVAC heat pump and air handler unit featuring an electronic thermostat, overhead ducting, and adjustable air ports. For a more open-air experience, two variable-speed, remote- and thermostat-controlled MaxAir II overhead exhaust fans are embedded in the ceiling, and can be used during periods of precipitation and inclement weather. Has a stand-up or sit-down shower with a high-grade replacement shower head featuring an improved flow cut-off switch for water and wastewater storage conversation. The bathroom also offers a porcelain toilet, faucet, sink, and a telescoping two-sided make-up mirror. The galley has three LPG stove burners, an overhead exhaust system with dedicated stovetop light, a stainless steel sink with a Moen faucet, and two integrated inert cutting boards. We have installed a VIZIO D-Series 24” Smart “full” widescreen HDTV, a replacement for the lower-resolution, lower-quality TV that originally came with the trailer. Coupled with Internet access, this “Smart TV” allows you to access millions of movies, shows, sports, news, and more in seconds in cinematic picture quality. Its features include smooth gaming action and graphics, multiple HDMI inputs, a VIZIO Voice Remote for simple searching, and Bluetooth headphone capability optimized with built-in streaming— all powered by an IQ Processor and fast dual-band WiFi 5. Also, we have re-built the Caravel’s original sound system with new aftermarket hardware and reconfigured settings to link all onboard speakers, to include the vehicle’s sub-woofer located under the convertible dinette, to the Blu-ray/DVD player, which formerly was not possible with the Original Equipment Manufacturer’s hardware, wiring, and configuration.
