Roadie, a 2013 Roadtrek Motorhome 170-Versatile Class B Motorhome, is a conversion van based on the popular full-sized Chevrolet Express 2500 Van with an efficient 4.8 liter V8 gas-operated engine requiring only regular unleaded fuel, and a heavy-duty six-speed Alison automatic transmission. In addition to being a self-contained camper vehicle, he can tow up to a 6,000 pound trailer, support a 1,000 pound tongue weight, and features a Towing Mode and an electronic brake controller. Averages 18.3 miles a gallon of gas without a trailer being pulled. However, the removable shower head (on an extendable hose) can be used to take sponge baths in the camper van. Roadie has been equipped with a new pots & pans set, new plates, cups, and bowls, and new flatware. Our Silver Bullet was the largest and longest and most capable single-axle Airstream Travel Trailer manufactured and sold in 2019. Though a tow vehicle with only 4500 pounds (fully loaded) of tow capacity can haul it, it sleeps two adults on a comfy 78"x54" bed in the front compartment and two smaller persons (children, adolescents, some teenagers) in the convertible dinette lounge & bed nook featuring a 74.5′′ x′38′ sleeping area. Nine Interior Windows and Skylights provide plenty of light, even with minimal expenditure of the juice of two AGM batteries, recharged by three top-mounted solar panels providing up to 270 watts of power when sunny conditions exist. This is a magnificent, gently used piece of equipment-- sadly replaced by a larger, fancier version once the RVing virus totally overcame me and my wife. The main slide - out extends the entire wall on the drivers side & the second Slide - out makes the master bedroom quite large and comfortable. Ample under-bed (with plastic bins) and under-dinette seat storage, as well as a sizable wardrobe closet, allows you to keep the clutter down, stuff out of the way, and clothes hung up if you wish. We have installed a VIZIO D-Series 24” Smart “full” widescreen HDTV, a replacement for the lower-resolution, lower-quality TV that originally came with the trailer. Coupled with Internet access, this “Smart TV” allows you to access millions of movies, shows, sports, news, and more in seconds in cinematic picture quality.
