2024 Jay Flight SLX 184 BS (Cozy Cone Rental)

We rented from them before which it was fine the last time but this time we had a very bad experience. The toilet seat was broken Juan said he thought he fixed it but obviously he didn’t because all we did is lifted it off. The whole thing came disconnected. The light in the bathroom didn’t work so that was kind of difficult at night. They had two plastic plates and two plastic bowls, which the bowls were dirty. There were no coffee cups or plastic cups for any coffee which I asked them about that. He says oh yeah we’re eliminating the coffee machine going forward. But you would think they would have at least a coffee cup paper or hard so you can use the coffee machine. The battery was not charged so when he turned on the lights, the battery drained down within 10 minutes so you had to put on the generator if you wanted any power which was a commercial generator that was extremely loud. They also stated that the propane was empty, which seemed impossible because we used it for one night. We didn’t use the stove. We didn’t use the heater so I don’t know how he would say. The propane was empty unless it wasn’t there to start with also, we took four showers in the two days we were there in the showers were no longer than 3 to 5 minutes and it filled up the holding tank I can’t imagine the holding tank was empty when we got it that was inconvenient. So when I told him the holding tank was full , he just shrugged his shoulders. And disregarded that and then I told him about the dishes that were dirty and there was no cups or anything for coffee and he says OK next time which didn’t make any sense to me. And then he told us that we should lower our standards cause we are camping so I thought that was kind of rude. I was politely telling him some of the problems that we had I wasn’t asking for a discount which she probably should’ve given us. Actually, the generator ran out of gas, I don’t think the tank was full. He brought an extra 2 gallons of gas so when generator ran out of gas, I put that gas in there and then he told me I owed them for the gas, but we didn’t use the gas for more than 30 minutes after it ran you seem pretty rude and he wasn’t happy when we left because he was insistent. We owed him for gas money anyway inin part, he said we should lower our standards we will never rent from him again.

Very clean RV, still smells new. Easy to tow. We had a lot of fun with the RV. It had everything we needed. Juan and Leslie were very nice, flexible, and great with communications. Thanks again for sharing your RV with us!!

Starting with pick up Juan gave detailed instructions on how everything worked and even let me know refrigerator wasn't working. Great communication. When ever I had questions they were answered in a timely manner. Very understanding because i had some delays due to traffic and returned trailer a bit later than expected but Juan and Leslie were very understanding and just made our trip an awesome experience.
