Helen D.juil. 2023The host was very nice, as a person I liked him. The problems were with the trailer, and the fact that the host waited until we were picking up the trailer to enlighten us about the biggest weakness of the trailer. We were warned the first time we saw the trailer that you couldn't put toilet paper down the drain. We accepted this fact and still went ahead with the rental. The big problem was when we picked up the trailer and were being shown how to use everything, the host shared that we should not operate the slide if it was in the very hot sun, to try and move the slide in cooler hours. One day we partially opened the slide, just to have enough room to access the fridge, at a rest area on the highway for lunch, it was not hot out, yet it jammed on the way back in. We were 100km out of cell service area. The choice was to drive with an open slide down the highway or drive to cell service, contact RV EZ and have someone sent to fix it. RV EZ was reached an hour later and said their roadside assistance doesn't cover slides. The hosts answer was to unhitch the trailer, drive to a lake and relax, then return to the trailer in the evening and hope the slide would work. Neither answer was good enough. We instead drove with the slide open, not wanting to leave the trailer unattended on the highway. During the next few days the slide continued to get worse to the point we closed it at 5:00am on the final day to make sure we wouldn't have to drive with it open again. RV EZ has since issued us an RV EZ credit of $150 for the inconvenience. The slide is an integral part of this trailer, since in the closed position it shuts off the walkway to the fridge, washroom, and rear bunks. I feel that if you are renting a trailer, and you know there is a problem with a vital part, you should repair the problem before entering into a rental agreement.- Shannon B.mai 2023Livré par l’hôteOverall RV was as expected. I would also recommend that you communicate with this host pre-trip about inclusions as this trailer only had the very basics with it- Andrea M.août 2023The host was very nice. The trailer was clean however did not have a lot of storage space and the beds were very hard and the battery did not last long. We were dry camping, but thankfully brought a generator. The handle on the fridge was broken when we got it which was quite annoying to try to constantly open. All in all the host was polite and responsed immediately :)
