We had an excellent experience renting from Anna (and Julian) for 10 days/9 nights in mid June 2021. After we originally contacted them through RVezy, we drove over to see the rig with our family and spent some time looking over and talking about the RV and our proposed vacation away with the RV. This was to be our first time driving & renting an RV, and they made us much more comfortable with the idea, laying out expectations and giving us recommendations and encouragement that it is do-able with our two young boys. On the day of departure, we came to Anna/Julian's place with our filled SUV (kids/supplies for our trip), slowly moved everything over to the RV while receiving detailed hands on lessons on the proper operation of the vehicle and all of its amenities/drains/etc. for 3 hours. By the time we left, both my wife and I felt comfortable heading out to our first stop. We left our SUV in place of the RV for the duration of our trip. Our trip took us to Lake Cachuma (great), Pismo Beach Village (fun with bikes on the pier/town), Nelson Falls in Sequoia (#1 place, lakes/falls/saloon and people), Lake Isabella (too hot) and Malibu RV Park (wonderful place, great views, very pricey), all without boondocking. Interesting Note: Malibu RV was not on our planned list of places to go, but when we arrived to Lake Isabella, it was so hot we couldn't go outside comfortably, so we scrambled to find another RV park out of the heat. When we called Malibu RV park they told us they generally only accept RVs which are no older than 10 years. I told the rep on the phone (Peter) that the RV is newly wrapped and beautiful, he asked me to send recent pictures via email, he showed his boss the pics I sent and they gave us the OK to come to them :-) So, in the end it was really easy to drive the RV, it felt really powerful, always starting right up without a delay, handled the turns in Sequoi with ease, up to 7200 feet elevation at one point, and a pleasure to drive. We even connected our bike hitch to the back of the RV and took our 4 bicycles with us. And our boys had a blast. Lastly, I highly recommend renting this RV from Anna & Julian. They were always friendly, responsive and caring. They clearly love this RV themselves and take great care of it as if its a part of their own family. We were also happy that ANna/Julian were flexible with dates/times for pick-up and return and were always available with any questions that arose. Thank you. ~Ken (Nams and the boys).
