What can I say about Johnathan except the what a stellar host! Don’t judge a book by its cover, as age definitely doesn’t hold this beauty back (of course I mean the RV, haha!). Every accommodation that could be made was made and more. Even as far as setting everything up at the last minute! This family gem has everything you could need for a family trip or just a weekend away from the city. I would not hesitate to rent this old gem again without a doubt. Johnathan is a great teacher, even to novices like me who had no idea how RV’s worked. After a quick session with him, you will be prepared to tackle any situation. Thank you Johnathan for making our trip so memorable!

It was feeling like 35 C when I returned the RV to Jonathan on Thursday, Aug. 13th. Jonathan had the courtesy of rolling down the windows of my car, which I left in his driveway, and opening the sunroof to cool it down.. That’s the kind of treatment that Jonathan and Rhonda provide.. We are a mixed family with 6 kids, and we did camp for the last two years, and this was our third.. We decided to surprise the kids with an RV trip, and boy that was a great decision, and “The Gem” was a part of it.. Great memories we made.. Let’s get practical here, this thing is old, fact, but surprisingly reliable, and comfortable.. For a family that wants to spend a great time in a memorable way, I’d recommend Jonathan’s RV for sure.. Beside the RV itself, Jonathan and Rhonda are great people to deal with.. Highly recommended.. We had a great time with the RV. Jonathan is very helpful, friendly, and flexible. He lended us an extra bike for the kids and allowed us to return the RV later than the normal time. As a newbie, we did not have any issue driving the RV thank to Jonathan’s help. The RV itself is older than we expected. But the good thing is that it has a lot of space (even for a family of six like us) and a lot of storage space. It’s near Toronto so it’s convenient for pick- up and return the RV.

Johnathan and his brother were very pleasant and friendly. When we first saw the RV with all the dents and broozes and duct tape we were a bit disappointed as the photos are not showing any of this. The awning was not fuctional which was greatly missed on the rainy days. We were told the renters are not allowed to use the awning anyway but it is shown in the photos. I feel that the photos and description should be updated to reflect the present condition of the RV.

We had a fantastic time in our first RV adventure. Jonathan was extremely helpful and very informative. The entire process was super easy. The RV is a bit older but had everything we needed for a comfortable 4 nights for our family of 4! The benefit was Jonathan’s responsiveness. We would certainly do it again.

Jonathan and his family were phenomenal to deal with. Jonathan himself was very knowledgeable about the RV and gave a lot of great tips - making us feel like he truly cared about a great experience. I cannot imagine a better way to experience the whole process.

It was our first time using an RV and Jonathan was there for us every step of the way. He was very helpful giving us pointers on the phone and when we had a few new learning things he guided us easily to a solution. We loved having a home away from home and a place to hang out, read, eat, and have our own healthy food while travelling. Tobermory is incredible and both RV parks, Blue Sky Resort and Happy Hearts were lovely, beautiful and quiet spaces. Thank you so much! Next time we will explore a B class as we want to try different models before ever potentially purchasing one.

Excellent value. The RV is easy to drive and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. It’s an older vehicle, so not everything inside is perfect (the small stuff), however it’s roomy, has a lot of storage, and gives you options with seating (car seats), and sleeping arrangements. The vehicle is maintained well and everything important works great. In addition, the owners are excellent. They let us check it out before we departed, let us park in their driveway and even gave our kids a gift basket and gave us tips on our trip. Jon was always available for questions and was very helpful, flexible, kind and laid back. The camera on the back makes it easy to park. This was our first experience with an RV and it exceeded our expectations. Make sure you ask about the kitchen light!!!! :-)

Excellent experience with A rare gem. Good fun to drive and didn't take long to get the hang of it. Could not have asked for a better renter in Jonathan, excellent communication from start to finish and made himself available at any time of the day if we needed to ask any questions. I would definitely recommend this RV for anyone who wants experience real home from home vacation.

Jonathan's RV was perfect for our road trip. It was spacious and accommodated all of our needs. We comfortably fit all 7 adults in the sleeping areas. The best bed in my opinion is over the cab where you can really stretch out and be comfortable (just a tip for the taller renters). The kitchen in the RV was fully functional and came in handy as we were roadtripping on budget and it allowed us to prepare many of our own meals. The back up camera made the RV super easy to park and was a great help when getting into the tighter spots at the RV parks we stayed at. Jonathan was always available for any questions or concerns that we had. We got a flat tire and when I was unable to get a hold of anyone at RVezy he was right there with us to guide us on how to handle the situation. He was also very accommodating and allowed us to see the RV before our trip which was very nice of him as I know he didn't have to. Very easy going and laid back guy - it was a pleasure renting from someone who genuinely cares for his RV and about your enjoyment of you trip. Things to keep in mind: - The AC in the unit does not work unless you are plugged in to a power source. The AC will work in the Cab however. We drove through the southern US with 40 degree + weather and were ok with the windows open. However if you have a sensitivity to heat this may not be for you. - If you plan on taking this RV on a ferry for whatever reason, the clearance is not very high in the back so you'll need to ensure the ramp is not too steep. We had to find another border crossing as the RV could not clear the ramp onto the ferry into Michigan (The water levels were higher than normal making the ramp much steeper than it normally would be) -The fridge is spacious for food items but I would recommend bringing a cooler for drinks Overall this rental was great bang for your buck and you can rest assured that you will have a great time in Jonathan's RV
