We loved our weekend away in deans van! It was kitted out with all the equipment we could have possibly needed, and the mattress was super comfy.

We had an incredible time with this camper, who took us all over Nova Scotia - Cape Breton, Lunenburg and the Annapolis Valley! We’re so grateful to Dean who was highly responsive to all of our questions while we were on the road. The van is clean, comfortable, and incredibly set up with many comforts - everything you could need for a roadie and more. Highlights were the portable BBQ, the camp chairs, the French press, cooler, fresh linen, power box, and all cooking utensils. Made the van feel like home - and we are really going to miss her. Thank you so much Dean!! Highly recommend!!

Everything with the RV was great, we had everything we needed and it was all as described. Dean gave us a very thorough walk through when we picked up and we felt comfortable with all of the controls and maintenance required! Communication was great, all in all it was a GREAT experience!

Dean was very easy to communicate with and showed us around the camper quickly ans efficiently mentioning everything one needs to know about the vehicle. He was open for suggestions and flexible for the pick-up and drop-off time. The camper was perfect for us. You had everything you needed in there without having to purchase anything else. The only two downsides are, that the bed is rather short and that even I as a rather short person (175cm /5’9”) had my feet hanging out of the bed. I can absolutely recommend both Dean as well as this specific van!

Dean and his wife were very personable and easy to communicate with. They gave a heads up that there were warning lights on in the van, this didn’t affect the performance of the vehicle, though it did leave concern if something else went wrong while we were travelling. Overall, we had an amazing camping adventure with the van, the bed was super comfortable and it had everything we needed for our East Coast camping trip! So many great memories made on the road!

Great van for our 10 day tour of Nova Scotia! We really appreciated the solar panels so we didn't need to have an electrical site. The van had everything you needed, even supplied dish soap, paper towels, aand aluminum foil. Bed was very comfortable and Dean added an extra comforter when I had asked about staying warm at night. There was a small electric heater that worked really well to keep the van warm when overnight temperatures dipped to 2-3 degrees on our last night. Dean had advised us that he had insulated the van well and it was amazing. Dean was great at going over everything in the van. His wife was very sweet when we dropped off the van.

I travelled solo in the Chevy and it suited my needs. I had all that I needed and the van was a pleasure to drive. Flexible pick up and drop off is handy as was the unlimited mileage which meant not worrying about how far I would be able to travel. Communication with Dean was easy and reliable. Would recommend.

Had a great trip with this campervan! Very clean and came with everything I could possibly need, including a battery booster kit that came in handy when I accidentally drained the battery. Communicating with the host (Dean) was quick & easy, and he was always very responsive to any questions I had. Would highly recommend renting from East Coast Getawats!

First time renting/using a camper van. Friendly communication. Booking process through RVEZY worked well. Everything worked well as we toured Cabot Trail. Solar feature a great asset as it was handy that we didn’t need to plug in for night. Would definitely book again when in the area.

My husband and I rented Dean’s camper van for 9 nights to travel the coastline of beautiful Nova Scotia. This is our first time doing this and we are so happy we chose to do it instead of going the hotel route. It was such an easy way to travel and take in the beautiful sights along the way then just stop when we were ready to set up camp for the night. The van was very well equipped with everything we needed and the bed was super comfortable. Dean was an awesome host and communicated very well right from the time we booked the van until we dropped it off. We can’t say enough about the fantastic vacation we had. I would highly recommend doing this.

We rented the camper van for 9 nights. It was an awesome way to travel around the Maritimes. The van was very clean, comfortable and well equipped for our. The hosts were very responsive to messages. It did get quite warm in there on warmer nights.

Working with Dean and Tanya was a good experience. They were prompt in getting back to us with any questions, and we pleasure to work with.

RV was more 'tired' then we expected and there were a few issues encountered. With over 270,000 KM's this RV is not what we expected. RV was clean but a couple items were broken.

Great time! It was perfect for our little getaway with our family!!

No complaints. Camper was clean and worked a charm. Dean was polite and available. Made for a lovely holiday.

Our experience with the camper was mixed. The cons included a crack in the front windshield and some problems with alarm indicators. However, the owner reassured us that he had checked these in advance and it was fine to drive, and we completed our journey without any further issues (the owner also noted the camper would go to maintenance upon our return). The pros are clearly all the accessories and the well-thought out equipment/tools that were included. The van had camper chairs, a foldable table, some games, a usb speaker, a portable phone charger, a small fan for air movement, a small heater in case it got cold, and the added magnetic netting for the windows to prevent mosquitos. Communication was easy and we were able to get all our questions answered in advance.

Dean is absolutely the best. Easy to work with and responds quickly to questions. He thought of everything for the van to make its use enjoyable and comfortable.

The van has your basic needs,but is clean and comfortable. Van ran fine with no mechanical problems. Roof rack is a bonus for kayaks.

This was our first RV rental and it’s was a great experience. This unit came stocked with the basics and any add ons we needed. The owners were great to deal with and answered our questions. Having flexible pick up and drop off times was also nice as we had a laid back vacation. This unit fit our family of 5 nicely and the overall size was easy to handle. I liked the fact we could easily disconnect and be on the road again, no need for any pull out rooms to deal with.

If you're planning a trip to NS and you need a comfortable camper van for it, this is the one you need! We really appreciate the easy communication with the owners. Always reactive and available for us. The pick up was so easy with all details and informations we needed. It was the "Vanlife test" for us and now... We want to buy one. We loved the van. There was everything there we needed for the 2 weeks that we cruised around in the south of Nova scotia. The bed was very comfortable and Dean gave us even 2 comforters to stay warm during the colder nights in September. We appreciated the solar power that made it possible to stay in unserviced camping spots. the van was a pleasure to drive and very economic with the diesel motor. Dean was very good to communicate with.

The van was doing its job all the way in the eastern part of gorgeous NS. Astonishing the amount of gas consumption, even with 'gentle' treating of the engine. We love kooking (and eating!) and would recommend cutlery and dishes of a bit higher quality. The hosts are of the lovely and easygoing canadian type, they even dropped us at the next busstation about 2km away - awesome, as they say :-)

Dean and his wife are really nice hosts and were really responsive and helpful! The Van had everything it needs to camp out but at a very basic level. Engine and driving worked fine, the interior could need some revaluation.

The van was everything we expected and more. Dean had that van packed perfect when we arrived and explained where everything was located. We were able to take it out for 5 days and had no issues. Made memories to last us a life time. It was easy to drive and we are now itching to buy our own van someday soon.

We had never booked through this app before and this was our first time renting a van in Canada so we were not sure what to expect but it was all incredibly easy and Dean was brilliant and fast to respond. The van was better than we could have expected, we wished we'd booked it for longer as it was so comfortable and Dean had added so many thoughtful touches! Definitely wouldn't hesitate to book again, fantastic value for money and the best way to experience Nova Scotia.

We had a great experience with East Coast Getaways. Dean and his wife were very helpful and explained how everything worked when we picked up the RV. The RV itself was very clean and stocked with all the essentials (cups, toaster, coffee maker, plates, cutlery …etc). We have a family of 5 and it was perfect for a week of camping. The table easily coverts to a smaller bed and the bunk over the top was spacious enough for both of our boys (6 and 8) to sleep comfortably. There was plenty of storage space for all of our stuff and we didn’t exactly pack lightly! We would definitely recommend and will likely rent again in the future when we are back in NS.

Excellent service to use to rent an RV. We were in Nova Scotia Canada unfortunately our timing was bad and arrived just ahead of the hurricane. Which stopped us from reaching our destination of Cape Breton. We made the most of the trip and spent the time on the Southshore and Annapolis valley. Our experience was very smooth. Dean was super responsive and available leading up to and during the trip. We rode out hurricaine Fiona warm and dry in the Sprinter - quite a memorable experience for sure.

The RV was excellent. It drove very well for its age, was well appointed, the bed was comfortable and it had plenty of space and storage, even included an aux cable with iPhone adapter. The solar power permitted camping at sites with better vistas and more privacy than serviced sites, or those off the beaten track. The fridge and freezer saves the inconvenience and cost of keeping a cooler stocked with ice. Dean and his wife were a pleasure to deal with.

Their exceptional hospitality made everything seamless, The RV was great and stacked with everything that you need and more. They even provided us with extra pots to cook lobsters. 5 adults for 4 night lived in their comfortably. Drove to Cape Brenton and through the Cabot Trail. There's no other way to see a province than with this magical ride. Dean was super responsive and open to answering any questions we had. Pick-up and drop-off were seamless and the van was equipped with more than you could ask for. We would 100% recco this ride to anyone looking to explore the Cabot Trail. Communication with Dean and his wife was perfect and we had an enjoyable 5 day camper holiday on Cape Breton. The camper was exactly as described, clean and with almost everything we needed. Would only suggest a minor improvement: supplying top sheets and thin blankets for warm nights - the covers supplied are too warm.

Great way to explore Nova Scotia! We flew in from BC & got right into the RV…Dean & Tanis are super helpful, & the rig is really user friendly; just add food! We are a family of 5 (Dad & teen boys are all well over 6’); it was cozy, but we were comfortable :) Mostly went to provincial sites; excellent amenities & beautiful scenery.

My boyfriend and I rented this Van to tour around Nova Scotia and we had a blast. Drove through the Cabot Trail and visited Peggy's Cove. The Van was very comfortable, thanks to the memory foam pillows and extra blankets. We cooked on the BBQ daily and had everything we needed. Dean was very responsive whenever we had questions throughout the trip. The Van was very clean and equipped with everything that you might need. Highly recommend!

Dean’s RV was awesome for our 4 nights of camping! It was immaculate, better than some hotel rooms I’ve stayed in, and fully stocked (I especially liked the new non-stick frying pans). We will be booking again in the future.

First time we’ve ever rented an RV. Everything was as expected. Dean answered questions patiently and quickly. The RV was comfy and hassle-free, with everything essential included. We would happily rent from Dean again!

We spent 12 nights travelling throughout the maritimes in this unit and had a fantastic time! It’s a little big giant, since it fits everywhere on the ferries and in parking stalls, but is a self contained workhorse and comfy to stay in! We loved having a fridge/freezer to keep everything cold, and the batteries were kept fully charged on solar the whole time. We would absolutely recommend Dean and Tanis’ rv for rental and choose this unit again on our next Nova Scotia adventure!

This was such a unique and memorable experience. This van had everything we needed to feel at home on the road as we drove around the cabot trail, fell asleep to the sound of the waves and ate our dinners by the beach with the propane grill. The van came equipped with everything we needed to camp out and boondock in comfort. Thank you so much!!! My wife and I had an absolute blast renting this van on our east-coast trip! It ran incredibly well and was mobile which was exactly what we were looking for as we drove all over the maritimes. Dean was very easy to work with and was great at responding promptly to any and all questions. The unit was very comfortable to stay in which was a concern as I am taller myself (6'5), however, we fit comfortably in the bed and within the body of the van. Definitely recommend renting one of these vans to anyone looking for a good way to see the east-coast! Hope to be able to do it again!

Great experience! I would recommend this to anyone looking to travel the east coast. It made our trip flexible and couldn’t imagine trying to book accommodating every night. Dean has been extremely accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Please note that the location to pick up the RV is outside of Halifax and a costly Uber or Taxi is required both ways to pick it up. It’s best to factor that into your plans. Overall, we would highly recommend.

Very simple process and the van was perfect. Bed was surprisingly comfy and fit even a six foot tall person

Last minute booking and one of the best trips we’ve ever done! The camper van had everything you could think of needing and Dean was so great to deal with. If we ever come back out this way we’ll definitely rent again!

We had an awesome trip! This van was pre-packed with pretty much everything you could need (including rainy weather entertainment). It was a smooth drive and made a rainy vacation in the woods very comfortable and convenient. Highly recommend!

We have renter RV's in the past and we found this rental tops them all. We give Dean a 12 out of 10 because the RV was very clean, the toilet did not smell and whenever we had a question to ask Dean. he was very pleasant and took the time to ensure we understood how to resolve our problem. We had initial problems booking the RV, we contacted Dean and we felt he went out of his way to help us start the booking process. We highly Dean and his RV to future renters.

My girlfriend and I rented the RV for a week and had an incredible time. Tanis and Dean were fantastic hosts and were more than accommodating and friendly. The vehicle was spotless and very easy to drive (my first time driving one). We travelled all around Nova Scotia, PEI, and New Brunswick and the whole trip went without a hitch! Would 100% rent again.

Van was perfect for travelling through the Cabot trail and Peggys cove! Highly recommend this option for a couples retreat. Dean and Tanis were very accommodating with pick up and drop off times.

First time RV renters - from beginning to end, our experience was great! Dean & Tannis were friendly, easy to reach and accommodating. The RV was comfortable for a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 teenaged boys. The RV housed all the necessities, was easy to drive and very comfortable. 5 star rating!! We will rent from them again! The only recommendations I would have for future is to ensure all BBQ propane tanks are full (we were given 3 tanks, one was empty and the other two were about a quarter full). The other is to include a drainer board for the dish rack as no dry board made for a wet counter top. These are quite minor but thought I’d mention it. We had such a wonderful trip in the RV! It was perfect for myself, husband and 3 children! Beds were comfortable, everything was in working order, we never had any issues. Hubby said he enjoyed driving it, despite it being a large vehicle, it was an easy drive! We all had a ball, looking forward to doing it again! We miss it already! A big thanks to Dean & his wife!

We loved our weekend with this campervan! It was perfect for travelling with our 15 month old daughter. Her travel crib fit perfectly between the seats and the bed. The bed was very comfortable. Dean has thought of a lot of small details that are included with the van - the rechargeable fan kept our daughter cool while she slept. We would definitely book with Dean again!

We were new to RV's and enjoyed this rental very much. The pickup and drop off of the vehicle was smooth and the owner was very pleasant and professional and showed us all of the operating features. It was well stocked, clean and comfortable. A few things we might have changed would be a newer propane barbecue, a few more cooking pots and a bigger coffee maker but space is at a premium so we understand the need for minimal.

It was a very relaxing weekend because everything was in the camper that we needed. Highly recommend renting this unit for your get-away.

What a beautiful experience. Pick up was very easy ,Dean made sure we had everything we needed. The van was great on gas, the bed was very comfortable and it made travelling Cape Breton an even better time. Everything was great. The RV was already packed with everything needed. Clean bed linens, towels, chairs, all inside and everything else. It had some noise in inside, especially on main roads but, we loved as it seemed we were on a semi truck (don't need to tell that the kids were thrilled, haha). Great rental, very clean, lots of supplies for sleeping , cooking , cleaning and enjoying the outdoors as well. We loved having all the chairs and the propane fire pit was a great add on since the weather wasn’t great for a real fire. Everything ran smoothly and communication with Dean and his wife was great. We definitely enjoyed our first rv experience !!!

We has such a WONDERFUL time with the Thor Majestic! It was our first time in an RV, and were initially a little nervous about driving, operating, etc. Dean walked us through the ease of this perfect camping vehicle, and now we are totally hooked! The RV drove wonderfully, surprisingly great on gas and made our trip totally majestic! We spent most of our time on serviced sites, but also enjoyed how this RV allows for more improvised camping situations. You really can't beat RVing in Nova Scotia, and having all the wonderful conveniences and amazing service from Dean helped us have an epic trip! Thanks so much!!!

Dealing with Dean and his wife, sorry forgot her name, has been great. He let us look at the RV before we rented it and communicating with them to pick it up and bring the RV back went flawless. They explained how everything worked and where to find stuff. The RV was awesome. The people we were camping with thought it was great. It had everything that we needed. All we had to do was stock it with food and drink. It was the right size for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. We will use Rvezy again and hopefully see Dean and his family again. Henry

We loved the little Vintage Treasure. Perfect size for us - 2 adults, 2 small kids. The air ventilation in the trailer was great - which I feel isn't always the case in RV/trailers. Communication with the hosts/owners was exceptional - they were very responsive. And the amenities they have in the trailer are super nice too: bedding provided, towels, coffee maker, pancake griddle, extra disposable dishware, silverware, cups, etc. We would absolutely rent again. And we also like the RVezy experience. It WAS EASY!

Dean and his wife are wonderful people and their motorhome was in great condition. They provided each and everything, you can think of in the motorhome. We really had a great time during our vacation. We will definitely rent again from them.

My experience with Dean and RVezy was a smooth and enjoyable experience overall. Dean was an amazing host, communicated with me clearly throughout the process and ensured that we had everything we needed previous to leaving on our trip. This included a provided hitch attachment and appropriate sized ball so we didn't have to purchase our own, as well as an adaptor so our current wiring would work with the trailer. The trailer was stocked with everything we needed... bedding, towels, pots, pans, utensils, dishes, soap, tarp, rope, hatchet, port-a-potty, heater, AC, and even some games. He also included a generator full of gas as well as propane for a very, very reasonable fee. The trailer was easy to hook and unhook, park and level, and it was a breeze to pull, even with my Jeep Wrangler. It was the perfect sized camper for dry and comfortable sleeping, and a place to cook, eat and hang out if the weather isn't great. Pick up and drop off was easy and fast, and we would definitely contact Dean through RVezy for future camping trips! Highly recommended!!

It was probably a blessing in disguise because The owners of the Thor Majestic made our rental experience very pleasant. They answered all our questions and gave us a lot of extra information when they learnt we were first time campers. The Rv was clean, stocked for our convenience and very comfortable. this was my first camper trip experience. overall it was a good adventure into the life of a converted van and camp grounds life in Newfoundland Canada mostly. the van did allow me to stand up in it during my time (I am 6'1 or 1.85 meters) and had a queen bed and could mostly fit with my feet hanging a bit over the end which was fine. the van had storage under the bed and areas to hang stuff too. A little sink but no shower aspects. the vehicle drove like a small box truck and was not as fuel efficient for my long journey overall- at only about 5 kilometers per liter or 11-12 MPG, but made up for it with low cost campgrounds along the coastline looking at the water vs expensive hotel nights. Dean was responsive during the trip when issues or questions arise. this would be a good choice for a solo or couple to travel in for a few days across the Nova Scotia or surrounding areas!

A clean rv stocked well for travel. Pick and drop off was very smooth and flexible. Communication with Dean was awesome and very prompt with any questions we had. We had a great experience and would certainly rent from them again

Me and my wife stayed at dean’s RV for 8 nights and we enjoyed every moments of our trip. The RV was clean with very minor issues but overall well maintained and the truck ran well too. I would do it again hopefully soon and dean definitely is where I get my RV from!

We had a good experience with this rental. The bed is comfortable and the van well outfitted with camping gear. This is an older van with no back up camera or electric door locks which are inconvenient. A broken sensor meant that dashboard warning lights were on all the time although all systems were working. However, when we got a flat tire we did not get a warning as we should have if the sensor was operational. The supplied toilet was inadequate and we had to buy an upgraded version for our comfort.

Dean was helpful in any inquiries I had. The van needed better tires, very rough ride, which made it harder on gas. The day we bought back the van, he had an appointment to get them upgraded. Which didn't help us, but the sights we seen were awesome. But we tried to see to much, wish we would of spent more days in one spot..

The van ran good for having almost 600000 kms and we got great gas mileage. It is well stocked for a weekend camping trip. You will have everything you need. The host is responsive and friendly to deal with.
