Unfortunately we had a number of problems with the trailer that took some time to correct. We used the trailer off-road for part of our trip but found that the internal water supply tank had not been checked thoroughly and as a result when we went to use it there was so much sand and debris that it plugged the faucet. Removing the filter on the faucet corrected this problem, but the pump was found to be sucking air from the city water inlet and the water from the faucet came in sharp bursts. We found the valve for the outside water supply and shutting it corrected the problem. The awning was also a bit of a pain because one sliding arm would not stay fixed in the sliding aluminum fitting. We tried a few things but ended up with duct tape as the solution. Denis explained later that we could have used the awning by holding things in place while tightening the fastening securing the arm. The other issue was the various locks on the storage areas and the door. Unfortunately they are really shoddy. One door came open while travelling (nothing lost fortunately, screw on locking arm came loose) and one lock allowed the key to be inserted backwards. Although the TV works on cable, it does not work on antenna input (unless we missed something). I'm guessing the TV does not receive digital signals? These were not major problems but they did make our trip more difficult (particularly for the use of the internal water supply). We shortened our trip because of these issues. Otherwise the trailer was fine when in an RV campsite with services. Stove and fridge worked extremely well. It is unfortunate that a little more effort in ensuring these issues were fixed before we picked up the trailer was not made.
