Great and easy experience!

Everything was great, this vehicle is perfect for a family of four. Frank was also great and easy to deal with.

Vehicle came fully equipped with everything necessary to take it out and set it up. The host was incredibly helpful and provided us with a walk through the of the entire vehicle and explanation of the various systems. Post accommodated our necessary additional mileage for the trip at a very reasonable rate. Post accommodated our late drop off of the vehicle and was courteous and responsive throughout the entire process.

Second time renting from Maosheng and it’s always a great experience. Van was perfect for Coachella since we didn’t need a bathroom in the van.Plenty of storage space and the bed was really comfortable.

The van was just what we were looking for for our first Class B travel experience. Frank did a good job of explaining the systems. One device failed, but it did not impact our trip too much, and Frank made it right, so no worries!

Wonderful renting experience. Rented from Maosheng for Coachella and it made the weekend so much better. The vans solar powered A/C worked perfectly even in the hot desert. Maosheng was very responsive and helpful showing us all the van’s features and stayed in contact when we had questions throughout the weekend. Very happy with our experience and would highly recommend.

Frank was very flexible and accommodating. I enjoyed renting his RV. The one thing to improve the rental would be manuals to understand how to operate the systems.

This was my first experience in an RV and it was amazing.

This camper van is awesome: highly equipped with all the amenities you may need while camping along the coast line or the mountains. The solar panels is really a plus, providing autonomy and not relying on regular batteries. We did a family trip along the California coastline between 3 siblings and the space to sleep, cook, eat and travel on the road is great. Super comfortable. The vehicle is clean and safe to drive even in the busiest places. Maosheng was a great host, always willing to help or assist. I highly recommend this vehicle. And most likely I will rent it again.

Loved this unit and the owner was super easy to work with. He guided me through some of the options during the rental process that was helpful in saving a few bucks. Also, spent time walking me through the details of the coach. I would definitely recommend renting from Frank and it looks like he has several units to choose from too.

The RV was excellent, In great condition. It was easy to drive and manuerver. All items worked and AC was terrific. The person providing met and reviewed all items succinctly. Great van, clean, pop up on top is perfect for kids, great size for a safe drive.

We had a few issues with van from the first day. There was a lot of white dog hair left in the van from the previous guest. We had to spend some time vacuuming to get most of it out. It wouldn’t have been that big a deal if our daughter wasn’t allergic. The next problem was the cassette toilet. The mechanism on the bottom wasn’t working, so we weren’t able to use the toilet at all during our 7 day vacation. That was a bummer as one of the reasons we decided to rent this van was because it had a toilet. After getting in touch with Frank to let him know, he basically told us we can use a public bathroom and he’ll fix the toilet when we bring it back. (That didn’t help our situation any.) It almost seemed like we were being blamed for breaking it, but that’s not the case. It didn’t work from the very first use. I think it would be great if a second backup cassette were provided just in case it needs to be switched out. We didn’t find out it wasn’t functional until 7 hours into our road trip…too far to turn back. There’s also small things that made things inconvenient…like the screen door being difficult to open and close, etc… But at the end of the day, Frank made things right, which is why I gave the 3 stars. Despite the issues we had, my family and I had a good time on the road trying out vanlife for the first time. The refrigerator and microwave worked extremely well. We were thankful for having those things.

RV was very nice and clean! Super easy to use and drive! It has everything you could need or want! Great communication with the owner as well! I would definitely recommend this RV and would love to rent again some time!

We had an awesome trip to Yosemite. RV was just perfect for 2 kids and 2 adults!

Main engine was a little noisy. Make sure you charge the interior battery overnight if you are dry camping. No issues if.you have full hook-ups. Owner is responsive and helpful.

This camper was in pristine condition. Very clean and naturally clean smelling which I appreciated as I am very sensitive to fragrances and chemicals. The van was amazingly easy to drive and Park. Another thing we loved was many options for ventilation an opening Windows. We prefer fresh air so that was a huge Plus! The bed in the back was roomy and comfortable with good support. I suggest providing a hard copy manual in the vehicle. I was sent a digital version, however, without good service the manual was glitchy and difficult to read. Maesheng was very courteous, patient and helpful. Responding promptly to my questions.

Van is nice and owner is very quick to respond. If you’re going somewhere with hook ups, this is a great choice. If you will be going off the grid, the battery won’t last long and you won’t be able to use many of the appliances.

What a fantastic experience! We truly enjoyed the use of the vehicle and our adventure. Pick up and drop off was easy and the vehicle had everything we needed. The control panel is all touch screen and very easy to use for the generator and lights. We would recommend!

I want to thank Frank for allowing us to use his RV; we couldn’t have gone on the trip without it. It was just what we needed and make the trip that much easier for old timers.

We had a great time using this RV for a trip to Joshua Tree to view a an amazing dark sky. The experience was really good and communication was also pretty good. I was a little surprised that more miles were not included so we had to pay extra at the end (read the mileage details). A few minor items could be improved (bathroom door was very poor quality) and a step for the bed in the back would significantly improve the overall experience. It was hard to get up into it from inside. Frank was very nice and accom and explained all the controls and helped us park our truck safety while we used the RV. Overall it was really good. Just a bit of a surprise about some many fees plus $1000 deposit.

Maosheng is super friendly and accommodating host. He keeps his RV Clean and we had a great time!

The bus is easy to handle and sturdy, good to drive and has all the basics on board. Frank was very helpful and quick to answer! The only thing you need to consider, is that the usb can only be charged when completely full (day 1), on hook-up or while driving. Do yourself a favour and bring a powerbank if you also happen to be a diabetic in a national park without any power outlet near.

This was my first time in a camper van so I probably shouldn't have picked a German one with so many things to operate, but it was a holiday week so it was slim pickings. I was really lucky to have FriendlyFrank who has a thick accent tell me to video our hand off session. He was really friendly and there was a operator manual included but it is not intuitive so I was out at Joshua Tree with limited power because really the South side has no plug in and solar is definitely not available at night. It was awesome to be in the van during the windstorm versus a tent. The camper mattress was very comfy. It is an older 2018 van so the shower curtain is missing and I don't think you should use the shower. The toilet was good to have but I would only use solid waste if in an emergency because it's a small van so odor is going to lurk. It is 19 ft so fit perfectly under the 25 ft max of the campsite. I was able to drive it no problem but the navigation system is old and not to be relied upon. I couldn't use the DVD because ran out of power in desert. Battery doesn't last long, but great to have van in wind storm. I don't know how, but the van got dinged with large scratch while I went hiking, so it is bigger in a parking lot, best to always buy insurance. RVz took the 750 deductible from the 1000 deposit and was quick to message me, it was all handled via the app. A hotel or airbnb would have been less money, but having the van on the camp site in a wind storm with a toilet was amazing 👏 😀 and really comfortable.

We rented this van because we were travelling as a family ( 2 adults and 1 child) for a period of 9 days. That is the reason we chose this particular van, the ad clearly stated there was a functioning toilet and shower. When we received the van the owner took half an hour to show us its particularities. The van was uncleaned, the mattresses were stained, the bedding provided was inappropriate and our daughter had to sleep on an invented bed that hold together by boards. After one night sleeping in the van we noticed a very bad smell from the toilet, it was in fact very used, damage and leaked into the van. We cleaned it and washed it only to discover it was broken. we contacted the owner who came to meet us and blamed us ! For the broken toilet ! Leaving without any arrangements and telling to use the van has is… Further on we also noticed this used up van was leaking its gray water. We were very uncomfortable with this so we went to see under the van and realized the pipe had a whole and was blocked by some kind of homemade putty..: We left the van behind for the owner at the end of the trip cleaner than when we received it ( I cleaned the ceilings), only the receive a heavy fine claim from this owner. This van should not be rented at all, it’s such in a bad shape. We are not recommending dealing with this owner for anyone.

I booked with this host 10 days or so before a 10 day trip. When it came time for the trip, the van was delivered, and immediately there was a noticeable leak coming from the van. It became apparent pretty quickly that I wouldn't be able to rely on the van for water supply to support washing dishes, showering, and bathroom needs, but with it being the day of my trip, I was without time to try and rebook something else. Frank offered that the best he could do was an 8% reduction from the booking fee, and without any alternative, I was forced to accept. Frank assured me the bike rack provided would be compatible with my e-bike. It wasn't, and the bike sustained damages from trying to make it work. Again, not an issue you want to be resolving the day you leave for a long trip. Upon returning, Frank filed insurance claims for damages (paint chips, presumably, though I can't be sure from his description), but would not show me pictures of what damages he was referring to. Overall the experience was really unpleasant, and the entire thing felt like a bait and switch con scheme. I would not rent from Frank again.
