Founded on the coasts of Southern California, TB Outdoor Rentals was born out of our love for nature, adventure and outdoor exploration. Our story began in 2017 on our trip to Joshua tree. There, we realized how inconvenient camping in the traditional sense can be. In a complete coincidence, we came across a picture on IG of our friend in Germany camping out of his car. We didn’t realize at the time how popular this camping style was in Europe and how new of a concept it is to the U.S. That’s when the idea hit us! We realized that by converting our own car, we can explore much more of the West Coast without the hassle of heavy packing and hotel booking. After converting the car, we spent the entire summer camping throughout the West Coast and loved every moment of it. A lot of our friends and family fell in love with the idea and started borrowing the car to experience the same getaway themselves. A few months later, we decided to open our doors to the public to help similar minded people explore as much of nature as they desire to through the convenience, flexibility and comfort of our vehicles.
Fast forward to 2021, we now have 5 vehicles on our fleet and are in the process of acquiring more and converting vans & trailers. So far, we’ve received nothing but AMAZING feedback and we couldn’t be more grateful for that.

Whitney W.oct. 2023The company: Maron was great to work with. He was prompt with his replies and on time with pick up and drop off. Five stars! The van: We traveled with 2 adults and one teenager. It got great gas mileage and was easy to drive. Matching towels and sheets and blankets were provided. Though it can hold 4 people, the max is really 3, otherwise it would not be possible to move around the space with two back seats. I was concerned about not having a toilet inside, but we stayed at RV parks or were at attractions where there were facilities; so, it was never an issue. The van held heat well, but if you get cold at night, you should bring warm PJs. The van stayed cool while the AC was running and retained the cool air, but while parked, we had to wait for the sun to go down in order for the fan and two side windows to bring enough air flow to cool things down; so, you should plan accordingly when it's super hot. The pop-top bed and awning worked fine. We found both worked better with two people for set up and take down. There were cup holders galore in the front and plenty of storage space, including in the refrigerator. The plates, cups, bowls, and utensils met our needs well, and though we did not use the stove, the cookware looked well-stocked, too. The company also provided cleaning supplies, and dish and hand soap; so, we did not have to add those supplies to our shipping list, which was nice. Thank you TB Outdoor for a fun and memorable first RV experience!

I would recommend not only to check the vehicle for existing exterior damages but to thoroughly check the vehicle for complete equipment such as: -a shower curtain -(if provided) the insect nets are in working order -vehicle tires (correct inflation, wear, etc) And any other things you see as important to your trip. Overall, we had a great trip!

Being short and not used to driving on the right side of the road are the things that got me worried. Seeing the RV is quite daunting but Noble made us feel at ease. He went through all the details to make sure we feel safe and comfortable. He went above and beyond by letting me and my sister drive the RV until we felt confident to drive on our own. Maron was very helpful pre-trip and patient to answer all of our questions. He gave us a very thorough overview of how everything on the van worked, and when we had a few minor questions out on the road, he was extremely responsive and helpful! The van is in excellent shape and very easy to drive. It was simple to set up and take down the overhead loft bed area, and the convenience of the kitchen and bathroom areas were great benefits. A welcomed surprise was the great gas mileage of the van. We maxed out our mileage and only had to fill the tank a few times :) Overall the van and support from Maron made our first RV trip a fantastic experience, and we will definitely rent from Maron on our next adventure in Arizona!

- Jeffrey Z.nov. 2023my booking originally had an issue with their scheduling which they didnt realize until the day of my trip. luckily they had another rv (same model) available, but it needed to be cleaned and serviced. this caused a delay to my trip but the host added a few extras for my trip to remedy the mishap. overall the trip was great and the rv drove well. the host made up for any inconveniences. would use their services again.
