If you decide to rent I would recommend sending a message to find out what time they want it returned and make sure they did not book a rental on the same day as your return. Our campground was to 2 and a half hours away (without delays, stops for fuel, etc) which I put our destination in the booking request which was booked a couple weeks in advance. A day before our trip we were requested to have the trailer back by 10:00am due to a rental that afternoon, I requested for an extension and I was told “12:30ish”. I agreed as I would not be able to get another trailer in such short notice or get a refund for this one. Had I known of the early/ specific return time I would not have booked. I expressed my concerns about being back at that time and said I would do my best. In order to get the trailer back by this time we had to get up at 6am and start packing, stopping for fuel once and unload our things into our driveway and return the trailer which was 30 minutes from my house. I arrived at 1:30. Helped with fixing a blown fuse. And was told I had to pay a late fee, reduced but still a late fee. Owner even recognized that it was a lot to ask to be back so early and said they would never do a same day return/rental again. Most campgrounds checkout is 11 or 12 to give you time to enjoy the last morning there. I feel like our trip was cut short due to an unknown early return time and after rushing all morning in the heat to try and get back in time were still charged a late fee. Other than that, great trailer and pretty much everything you need. Just make sure you know your return time before renting.
