Alida and Tony are great hosts. They took the time to explain every functionality about the RV. They made us feel at home right away. The RV was showroom condition, so confortable (seats and bed), very cleaned and very well equipped. We particularly liked the spacious shower with a skylight. Our booking through Tony and Alida was our first RV experience and it was amazing -- we're hooked! Tony was very communicative and helpful with getting us ready for our adventure. He was quick to respond to any questions prior to the booking. Throughout the entire process, he and Alida were very clearly committed to making this experience as enjoyable and memorable for us as possible. They met us at the airport and gave us a thorough rundown on the RV by the end of which we felt very comfortable and prepared. The interior is immaculate. Almost everything we needed for our 7-day trip was neatly provided for us; cookware, towels, bed sheets, toiletries, phone charger, etc. Having two large pieces of luggage and a laptop with us, we found that there was plenty of room for storage. Obviously, the vehicle also came with tools necessary for roadside repair, including a roll of duct tape, which was much appreciated. To our delight, the vehicle itself is in great condition with very minimal signs of use, so the tools were not used. Despite having all the amenities you could wish for, the RV was easy to drive and did not feel too bulky. It felt more like a large van than a fully contained home-on-wheels. We had no issues parking at restaurants or tourist sites, navigating Halifax, or finding space in campsites. That said, we did stay at a couple of unserviced campsites which proved to still be very comfortable. The propane tank is more than adequate and should keep the stove and fridge running, as well as water heated for showers, at a shockingly low cost. Had we known how efficient this system is, we would have been more indulgent with the propane. It was extremely easy getting hooked up to serviced sites as well as emptying grey/black water tanks and refilling potable water. We dumped our black and grey water tanks every one or two days and kept potable water at 50-75% of the maximum capacity to improve fuel efficiency. That said, we spent about $400 in gas for our 1300 km trip around Halifax and the entire Cabot Trail. Well worth it! All in all, Tony and Alida were very hospitable hosts. We highly recommend them and would love to rent with them again.
