Brian D.août 2020This was a great motor home for a 5 day trip around the south shore for my wife and me. We'd hauled RVs before, but this was our first experience with a motor home. The Pleasure Way is a very nice RV with all the amenities you'll need for your outing. Alida and Tony were wonderful - they went over all the details with us and answered all of our questions. Sam K.sept. 2019I want to say it is really hard to meet such nice folks. Tony and Alida took their time with us and picked us up from the airport and dropped us off. It can’t get better then this. My wife had an amazing time in Tony and Alida‘s RV. It was very clean and had everything you needed to start your adventure in Halifax. We would definitely book again if we go back to Halifax. We will hope all the best to Tony and Alida! Hope to see you again!
Richard R.août 2019Livré par l’hôteWe have just returned from our trip to Nova Scotia and PEI. We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to rent Tony and Alida's RV. This RV was in great condition and very clean. It was truly a turn key operation. All we needed to bring was our luggage and to do a grocery run once we arrived. The rest was nicely provided in the RV. Tony and Alida met us at the airport hotel to review the operation and different functions of the RV. They were very thorough and provided some additional online operational videos prior to our arrival. By the time we left the parking lot we felt very comfortable with operating the RV. In regards to size, this RV is the PERFECT size for a couple. It has more than enough room for two people to travel comfortably. You can also fit this camper into some of the busier tourist areas without any issues. We would highly recommend renting this camper, and working with Tony and Alida.- Dave P.août 2019It was a pleasure to deal with Tony and Alida. They were very accommodating for us as they were able to meet us at the airport for the pickup and dropoff of the RV. They were very thorough to make sure we could operate everything with ease. Everything we needed to use the RV was there, including bedding, cookware, dishes, towels, phone cords/chargers, operators manuals, outdoor chairs/ table, spare tools, etc. The RV itself was very nice as well. It was clean and well maintained; everything operated as required and for the most part was quite user friendly. It was obvious that it has been taken care of and that we didn't have to worry about things not working as they should. Overall our experience was excellent and we would recommend and encourage people to work with Tony and Alida and their RV for their travels. Dave and Sam

The RV was showroom condition, so confortable (seats and bed), very cleaned and very well equipped. We particularly liked the spacious shower with a skylight. Tony was very communicative and helpful with getting us ready for our adventure. He was quick to respond to any questions prior to the booking. Throughout the entire process, he and Alida were very clearly committed to making this experience as enjoyable and memorable for us as possible. They met us at the airport and gave us a thorough rundown on the RV by the end of which we felt very comfortable and prepared. The interior is immaculate. Almost everything we needed for our 7-day trip was neatly provided for us; cookware, towels, bed sheets, toiletries, phone charger, etc. Having two large pieces of luggage and a laptop with us, we found that there was plenty of room for storage. Obviously, the vehicle also came with tools necessary for roadside repair, including a roll of duct tape, which was much appreciated. To our delight, the vehicle itself is in great condition with very minimal signs of use, so the tools were not used. Despite having all the amenities you could wish for, the RV was easy to drive and did not feel too bulky. It felt more like a large van than a fully contained home-on-wheels. We had no issues parking at restaurants or tourist sites, navigating Halifax, or finding space in campsites. That said, we did stay at a couple of unserviced campsites which proved to still be very comfortable. The propane tank is more than adequate and should keep the stove and fridge running, as well as water heated for showers, at a shockingly low cost. Had we known how efficient this system is, we would have been more indulgent with the propane. It was extremely easy getting hooked up to serviced sites as well as emptying grey/black water tanks and refilling potable water. We dumped our black and grey water tanks every one or two days and kept potable water at 50-75% of the maximum capacity to improve fuel efficiency. That said, we spent about $400 in gas for our 1300 km trip around Halifax and the entire Cabot Trail. Well worth it! All in all, Tony and Alida were very hospitable hosts. We highly recommend them and would love to rent with them again.
