The trailer itself was modern and in good condition, but our experience with the hosts was quite negative. We booked a month in advance and agreed on a price, which included delivery according to the hosts. However, on the day of our trip, they added a $650 delivery fee, claiming they had forgotten to include it initially. This was especially frustrating as I had confirmed with them beforehand that the delivery was included. It was a terrible way to start our trip. To make matters worse, the hosts were over 4 hours late delivering the trailer to the campsite. They didn’t inform us of the delay in advance, leaving us waiting at the campsite until nearly dark. I only found out they were running late when I reached out for an ETA after they missed the agreed-upon delivery time. When they finally arrived, they had difficulty maneuvering the trailer into the spot we wanted, and it took them about 30 minutes just to park it. They even came close to hitting our car with their truck during the process. In the end, the trailer wasn’t parked where we had requested, but we decided to let it go after such a lengthy ordeal. Additionally, halfway through setting up, they informed us that they hadn’t filled the fresh water tank. They said it was too late to do so after parking the trailer. Their solution was to suggest that we fill the tank manually ourselves using a bucket… We ended up borrowing multiple hoses from neighboring campers to reach the closest water source. It took us about 7 minutes to fill the tank this way, making it clear that filling it with a bucket would have been unrealistic. Overall, the hosts’ behavior at the beginning of our trip left us with a very negative impression of the rental, and it significantly dampened our overall experience.
