- Sandra B.août 2024The RV was great. We had a great time on our 8 day trip. The van drove very smoothly, was clean and well equipped. Jack communicated well with us and gave us great instructions on pick up plus there is a good guide in the RV that we used as needed. We will definitely book again.
- Vincent G.août 2024Belle aventure
- Lisa N.nov. 2023A great host with a great RV! It was my first time using the site as well as being in an RV. Instructions and the provided manual were in depth and clear. Had minimal issues with the battery as per previous reviews, though the host did say that they are getting it checked to make sure there are no issues for the next season. The RV is nice and new, well equipped, and has more features than we knew what to do with!
- Denis G.oct. 2023Excellent communication with the hosts who are flexible and understanding. The comments by the previous guest (Javier) could apply also to us. We had constant issues with the van battery (we had to boost constantly) and the alarms when using the inverter. Our initial briefing could have been more complete considering it was our first experience with a van. We learned as we went along. We were mainly on asphalt roads and the van handled fine.
- Javier A.août 2023The RV is new. It offers confortable sleeping room for four people, a good fridge, a stove, a working toilet/shower, and a fair amount of storage room. Its relatively small size makes it easy to manoeuvre, and possible to fit in the most attractive camping locations for tents. All in all, as a stationary vehicle, it delivered. As for moving around: due to its weight and construction, driving it on bumpy roads is slow and uncomfortable. And due to its lack of engine power relative to its weight, it is slow on hilly terrains - we were systematically slower than all cars, trucks and every other motorhome. The RV had some defects which had a non-negligible negative impact on our planned trip: 1)Battery outages and alarm signals, notably engine malfunction. First time it happened on a Friday, we had to postpone our trip to route 389. After discussion with the owners and check by a Chrysler garage, the issue appeared to be limited to a battery leakage. Due to this weakness, we were abandon the idea of a trip to the sparsely serviced road 389. The battery outage happened three times more thereafter, it was solved every time jump-starting with a battery booster and rolling extra-miles to charge the battery. Result: limitation in our range and choice of route, stress and waste of time 2)It was a really rainy month of August. Under the circumstances, water leaked repeatedly through one of the cupboards. Clothes were wet before we noticed, and I had to be on alert on heavy rain nights. Result: stress and lack of sleep on three nights. 3)The locks of several cupboards are not well solved. In particular, the lock of the cupboard below the sink broke and had to be replaced, and the lock of the sliding cupboard by the fridge had to be adjusted. We improvised solutions, but more solid ones should be introduced. Result: some unwished-for thrills and a lost afternoon of DIY. Contact and communication with the owners was excellent before, during and returning the rental. I particularly appreciated the reaction during the first battery outage: thanks to that reaction it was possible to continue the vacation with the RV.
