Was perfect for our needs.

We very much enjoyed David’s van! Our first time traveling with a campervan, and we learned a lot. David’s van was very well appointed, from the awning and bug screens, and outdoor mat, table, and chairs, down to a citrus press and coffee cone with the kitchen goods. Bed was comfy, though maybe a bit short if you are extremely tall. The van drives very nicely. Would definitely book again!

We had a wonderful week-long trip around the Island with David’s van. Its compact size makes it easy to get around and explore. It was clean, well-maintained, and well-stocked.

David's RV did what it needed to do. We had a minor issue with the RV prior to departure and David was quick to fix it so we could be on our way. The RV was well stocked and the bed was comfortable. Can't ask for more than that really - we had a great trip!

Easy and straightforward!!! Our first time renting- and David made it simple and easy- He answered all our questions and concerns- The motor home was everything advertised- it had everything we needed for a week of adventure- The vehicle handled very well and I was pleasantly surprised with the power and road handling it had. Our communication with Dave was great. As we were never that far away and stayed on Vancouver Island he was able to help out with a couple of questions. The RV is spacious and provides all that you need, especially the BBQ and the comfortable outside chairs were a real treat.

Everything worked…

I had a very good time camping on Vancouver Island with this camper van. It is sturdy and reliable even if a bit up in the years and not fully automatic in the way the various things work- like water, hot water heater, stove, or 'toilet'. The mattress is great and has a sweet sky-light for star viewing at night. Enough storage and a good fridge. It's quite high up- the steps to get into to the van and into the bed- a step stool for those of us not above average height would be useful. I used my own campstove at the campsites and the picnic tables there as there's not really a table to sit at in the van. The host answered quickly when I needed help with a couple of questions - which was commendable. There is so much to do on Vancouver Island, the Qualicum Parksville area - and the camper was great for travelling from campsites into town and around without any trouble. It's tall and long but the width is that of a regular truck or van - so I found it easy to handle. A sturdy, reliable camper that meets the basic requirements. Ask the host for more specific instructions on how to set it up and you'll be good to go!
