This was the first time renting a camper and the process with Carlos was super smooth. He was a great host! Being it was my first time I had some questions once I was on my own and he was always available to help with my questions. Carlos is top notch and will look to rent from him again!

⭐ 1-Star Review I rented this RV trailer for Labor Day weekend and had one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had. Booking & Pickup Issues When I booked in July, the listing stated pickup was between 8–9 a.m. Perfect for a camping trip. Less than a week before departure, I received a message saying it wouldn’t be ready until 5 p.m. because of another rental. That’s unacceptable when you’ve booked a month in advance. After pressing, I was told I might be able to pick it up at 9 a.m., depending on cancellations. Very poor communication and policy. Trailer Condition The listing advertised a “BRAND NEW 2023 RV TRAILER” in all caps. What I received was far from that: Awning missing (a major part of the camping experience). No screen door, forcing us to keep the heavy exterior door closed at all times. Broken shades, only lifting about 2 inches, so no view or ventilation from the windows. Missing privacy curtain on one bunk bed. Unclean interior: trash left in the bin, half a bottle of wine, leftover food, dirty silverware. Misrepresentation & Attitude The photos showed a pristine, fully equipped trailer with an awning, working screen door, shades, and bunk curtains. That’s not what was delivered. When I brought up the missing screen door, instead of an apology, I was told “everyone just breaks them, so we take them off.” This is misleading and unprofessional. Return & Lack of Compensation We returned the RV spotless at 3 p.m., exactly as instructed. Despite the long list of problems, lack of transparency, and misrepresentation, I received: No apology No reimbursement (this was nearly $950 for 3 nights) No accountability Final Thoughts This was a frustrating, disappointing experience from start to finish. Renting something advertised as “brand new” only to get a damaged, incomplete, and poorly cleaned RV is dishonest. For the price charged, basic expectations like cleanliness, working equipment, and accurate listings should be met. ⚠️ Do not rent from this owner. Misrepresentation, poor communication, and zero customer service make this a one-star experience.
