My experience renting to Theresa was less than ideal. I’m sure she is a nice person overall, but she was new to using a trailer and unfortunately that in itself created some issues. Other issues included: - She didn’t read the RV guide (if she did, she didn’t follow accordingly). - Her communication was poor. She asked a lot of questions, but then wouldn’t respond in a timely fashion about important things, and continued to use my personal email after being asked several times not to (had used email previously to send documents). - I delivered the RV to her one day early at no extra cost to be nice. This was after a storm, and set up on a muddy field, yet she sent quite curt messages to me wanting to know why it hadn’t been delivered yet and telling me that she didn’t like the way it was levelled when she arrived the following day (equipment left for her to change levelling to her liking). - Minor damage to the RV that she didn’t let me know about. - Tanks were not emptied. She was aware of the cost for full tanks up front and told me they were empty. They were not. I personally would not rent to her again. However, I don’t get the impression that she intended to be neglectful (not sure if she understood how the different tanks work, for example, and I’m guessing she didn’t read the guide). With close communication throughout the rental, it may go fine with another owner in the future.
