The great outdoors should be enjoyed directly in all its glory, 'uno a uno'. Spend time outside, not in a trailer. Go for walks, sit outside, eat outside... be outside. I have been camping in tents over the years and enjoyed listening to things sniffing outside at night, crawling out of the tent in the morning to see what visited the campsite. However, I never really liked not getting a good night's sleep because it rained, and my gear was soaking wet. That's what prompted me to get a micro trailer--I can still spend all of my time outside, but when it's time to turn in for the night, I know that I will get a good night's sleep and never have to worry about wet gear. I can travel anywhere, pull over, sleep for the night, and brew coffee in the kitchenette. I am good for another exciting trail. I can still enjoy pitching a tent, but I'm comfy and secure in my micro-bed when it's time to sleep.
Here are just a few tips that I've learned: My truck, which I typically haul the trailer with, has been fitted for the electrical attachment. If your vehicle does not have the round plug-in, you will need to get the adaptor that best suits your vehicle so that the trailer taillights will work (note to self: include a picture of the electric connection).
