My co-host, Jaimini, brings a different and complementary skill set to this project. She will serve as the primary host and spokesperson, and can add her own introduction below. As for me, I am a retired high-school physics, chemistry, and philosophy teacher with more than three decades of teaching experience. Much of my professional life involved laboratory work, technical problem-solving, and teaching Ontario’s Principles of Technology courses. I have always been interested in how complex systems and their individual sub-systems work together, whether in a classroom laboratory, a vehicle, or an RV. That perspective has become especially useful in preparing this RV. Over the past summer, I have worked through the many small but important details that make an RV dependable and comfortable: water systems, electrical supply, batteries, charging, appliances, storage, heating, and the practical routines that make travel easier for guests. The RV is well suited to visitors who want the convenience of established parks with water and electrical amenities. At the same time, one of my recent interests has been developing its off-grid capability. I have been steadily improving the power and water systems so that guests can have greater flexibility for quieter, more independent stays when appropriate. Our goal is to provide more than simply a place to sleep. We want guests to have a clean, practical, well-understood RV experience, supported by clear instructions, thoughtful preparation, and a genuine appreciation for the outdoor spaces they have come to enjoy.
