Best time to visit Blanket Creek Provincial Park

July and August offer the warmest weather, reliably open highway conditions, and the best swimming in the man-made lagoon, making them the peak months for RV travel. June and early September are good shoulder-season choices for quieter campsites and cooler hiking temperatures. Travellers visiting in fall should note that bears are commonly seen when they are attracted to the fruit trees remaining from homesteaders' orchards. Winter is not a practical RV season, as the campground operates seasonally and mountain driving conditions are challenging.
