Brunet Island State Park, WI, United States
The park entrance sits just north of Cornell, Wisconsin, off State Highway 27/178. Eau Claire is roughly 40 miles southwest, about a 50-minute drive, and the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro is around 2.5 to 3 hours via I-94 and Highway 53. Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport is the most practical fly-and-rent option for RV travelers. Access roads are paved and low-grade with no significant mountain passes or tunnels, but the causeway and interior park roads are narrow and winding, so large rigs should take curves slowly and confirm site length at reservation.
