Late June through early September offers the most reliable weather, with mild coastal temperatures, long daylight hours, and the seasonal access road and trailhead in service. July and August are peak months for hiking and shoreline exploration. Shoulder visits in September and early October bring cooler air, fewer visitors, and fall colour along the inland forest sections. The park is not developed for winter RV use, and the final gravel approach road is typically unmaintained outside the warm season.

The Three Sisters are a cluster of offshore sandstone sea stacks visible from the Eatonville shoreline and nearby cliff viewpoints. They are one of the most photographed landmarks on the Cape Chignecto coast and are best seen at mid to low tide.
Short coastal loops from the Eatonville trailhead lead to lookouts over the Bay of Fundy and down toward the beach. The terrain includes forested sections, boardwalks, and stairs to the shore.
Eatonville is the western trailhead for the Cape Chignecto Coastal Trail, a multi-day backpacking route through adjoining Cape Chignecto Provincial Park. Day hikers can sample sections of the trail from the Eatonville side.
The Bay of Fundy has some of the highest tides in the world, and visitors can walk the cobble and sand beach at low tide to see tidepools, driftwood, and the base of the sea cliffs. Always check a tide table before heading down.
The cliffs and coastal forest support seabirds, bald eagles, and other wildlife. Quiet early-morning visits from the trailhead offer the best chance to see birds along the shoreline.
The iron-rich sandstone cliffs around Eatonville glow red in the low light of sunrise and sunset, making this one of the most scenic coastal stops in Cumberland County. Viewpoints are a short walk from the parking area.
Advocate Harbour serves as the nearest village base for RV travellers, offering fuel, groceries, and lodging before the drive out to Eatonville. The scenic Route 209 drive along the Glooscap Trail is an attraction in itself.
Great experience. The trailer was perfect and communication with host (Thomas and his wife) was excellent. Would definitely rent with them again! Thanks!!

Tyler's camper trailer was exactly the thing we needed for a family reunion in Cape Breton. From the initial contact in May to the contract completion in July, Tyler was easy to work with and accommodating. The trailer with upgraded mattresses is very comfortable, roomy and is easy to put up and take down. I will definitely keep Tyler and his trailer in mind for any future reunions. Thank you Tyler for a great experience.

Tyler was the perfect RVezy host. He delivered and set up his tent trailer in my son's driveway so I could have a quiet place to retreat to and sleep. Thoroughly enjoyed my week in his trailer and would recommend him to anyone needing a tent trailer in Nova Scotia or beyond. thanks Tyler it was a pleasure to meet you.

Eatonville Provincial Park, NS, Canada
Eatonville sits at the western tip of the Cape Chignecto peninsula, reached via Route 209 through Advocate Harbour and then a gravel access road. From Amherst it is roughly 130 km (about 2 hours), from Truro about 170 km (2.5 hours), and from Halifax roughly 240 km (3 to 3.5 hours). RV travellers should plan carefully: the final access road is narrow, gravel, and includes steep grades and tight turns that are not recommended for large motorhomes or long fifth wheels, and cell service is limited. Halifax Stanfield International Airport is the closest major airport for fly-and-rent trips.
