How to get to Fort Columbia Historical State Park

Fort Columbia sits directly on U.S. Highway 101 about 2 miles east of Chinook and around 10 miles west of Naselle, Washington. From Astoria, Oregon, it is roughly a 15 minute drive north across the Astoria-Megler Bridge, a long, high, and often windy span that RV drivers should cross cautiously in gusty conditions. Portland, Oregon is about 2.5 hours south via US 30 and US 101, while Seattle is roughly a 3.5 to 4 hour drive via I-5 and SR 4 through winding rural terrain.
