The park is reached via State Highway 38 near Jet, Oklahoma, roughly a 2 hour drive northwest of Oklahoma City and about 2.5 hours from Wichita, Kansas. Enid, Oklahoma, is the closest regional hub, about 45 minutes to the southeast, and Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City is the most practical fly-and-rent option. Roads into the park are flat and RV friendly with no mountain passes or tunnels, but drivers should watch for strong crosswinds on open prairie highways and be aware that the causeway across Great Salt Plains Lake may have posted weight or vehicle restrictions.
