Best time to visit Lake Hartwell State Park

Spring (April and May) and fall (September through early November) are the best months to visit, with mild daytime temperatures, lower humidity, and comfortable nights for RV camping. Summer is peak season for boating and swimming on Lake Hartwell, but expect hot, humid weather and higher campground demand, so book early. Winter stays are possible because the park and campground remain open year-round, though some amenities run on reduced schedules and occasional cold snaps can freeze hookups.

My Family and I had a Blessed Time camping with Friends! Thanks to Christian - His prompt professional actions/responses were exactly what we needed to elevate our weekend Fellowship! We had multiple RV vendors, we had multiple camp sites reserved near “Host” site and a variation of experiences - seasoned campers as well as beginners/virgin campers.
