How to get to Lakelse Lake Provincial Park

The park is approximately 20 km south of Terrace and 40 km north of Kitimat on Highway 37. From the junction of Highway 37 and Highway 16, it is 14 km to Gruchy's Beach day-use area, 15 km to the Lakelse Lake Picnic Site and groupsite, and 19 km to Furlong Bay Campground. Highway 37 is paved and RV-friendly, but drivers should watch for wildlife, logging trucks, and reduced shoulders on curves. The nearest airport for fly-and-rent travellers is Northwest Regional Airport Terrace-Kitimat (YXT), located just north of the park.
