Alligator Lake is a 60-acre oxbow lake stocked with largemouth bass, channel catfish, bluegill, and redear sunfish. A T-shaped fishing dock accommodates anglers without boats, and a boat launch near the campground is available to RV guests. Mississippi fishing license required for ages 16-65.
Two observation towers provide safe viewing of American alligators in their natural artesian spring habitat. The towers offer elevated platforms for wildlife photography and educational viewing without disturbing the animals.
Leroy Percy Lake Trail South is the park's primary nature trail, stretching 1.5 miles through cypress swamps and ancient oak forests. The trail offers scenic views of Alligator Lake and the opportunity to observe wildlife in their natural setting.
The park's boat launch provides access to Alligator Lake for recreational boating. The calm oxbow lake setting offers scenic boating opportunities and access to fishing spots away from shore.
A disc golf course within the park offers 18 holes set throughout the wooded grounds. The course provides an accessible recreational activity for visitors of all ages and skill levels.
Designated picnic areas and pavilions throughout the park provide spaces for family meals and gatherings. The park's artesian springs and cypress settings create scenic spots for relaxation and wildlife observation.
