How to get to Lewis and Clark State Park

The park is reached via State Highway 175 just west of Onawa, Iowa, with easy access from Interstate 29 at Exit 112. Sioux City lies about 40 miles north, roughly a 45-minute drive, and Omaha is approximately 90 miles south, around 90 minutes by road. The route is flat prairie and river-bottom terrain with no tunnels, mountain passes, or significant grades, making it straightforward for large RVs. Sioux Gateway Airport (SUX) is the closest regional airport, while Eppley Airfield (OMA) in Omaha offers more flight options for fly-and-rent travelers.
