July and August are peak season with the busiest weekends, so reservations are recommended well in advance. The park hosts a 27-hole disc golf course that is one of the most well-known in the Pacific Northwest. Fairways wind through meadows and Douglas fir stands, with ample gravel parking suitable for RV tow vehicles near the first tee.
This multi-use path follows the Clackamas River for several miles through forest and open meadow. Walkers, runners, and equestrians share the route, and trailhead parking near the day-use areas accommodates larger vehicles.
A paved ramp provides access to the lower Clackamas River for drift boats, rafts, and kayaks. The adjacent lot has pull-through space for vehicles with trailers, making it a practical put-in for RV travelers towing a boat.
The state-operated hatchery within the park rears steelhead and salmon and is open for self-guided visits. Interpretive signs explain the lifecycle of native fish and the role of the hatchery in the Clackamas fishery.
A dedicated horse camp and trail network on the north side of the park offers miles of wooded riding loops. Rigs with horse trailers have designated sites, and the trails are also open to hikers outside busy periods.
The river corridor within the park is a popular spot for steelhead, trout, and salmon angling depending on the season. Bank access points near the boat ramp and day-use areas are a short walk from RV parking.
Open meadows and shaded picnic shelters serve groups and families throughout the warmer months. Several lots accommodate larger vehicles and are convenient for a midday stop between activities.

Took the trailer out for a long holiday weekend. Torrey and Nick were super nice and helpful. We called with a few questions and they were helpful and got us up and running. Highly recommend!

Torrey and Nick are absolute stars. Their Jayco trailer is as advertised. Clean roomie and all the amenities that a family could want on their adventure. Drop off, pick up and use of the fifth wheel was simple and straightforward. Torrey was responsive with all questions and an absolute delight to work with. Would certainly use her services again.

Milo McIver State Park, OR, United States
The park is about 24 miles southeast of Portland and roughly a 40 to 50 minute drive via OR-224 through Carver and Estacada. From Salem it is about 60 miles north, around 75 minutes via I-5 and OR-211. Roads in are paved two-lane highways with no tunnels or steep mountain passes, but the final approach on Springwater Road includes some winding rural sections, so larger motorhomes should take curves slowly. The nearest major airport for fly-and-rent travelers is Portland International Airport (PDX), about 30 miles north.
