Late spring through early fall, roughly May through October, offers the most reliable conditions for RV trip planning, with mild temperatures, long daylight, and dry trails. Waterfall flow on Twin Falls is strongest in spring from snowmelt, while summer brings the warmest, driest weather and the busiest trailhead parking. Shoulder months in April and November can be wet with mud and slick rocks, but weekday visits are quiet. Winter visits are possible since the park stays open, but expect rain, occasional snow or ice on trails, and shorter days.

The Twin Falls Trail is the signature hike at Olallie State Park, leading about 1.3 miles one way through old-growth forest to a viewpoint and footbridge between the upper and lower falls. The trail climbs moderately with stairs and switchbacks, and the round-trip is roughly 3 miles.
Weeks Falls is a short, easy walk at the eastern end of Olallie State Park, reached from the upper trailhead off Homestead Valley Road. The paved path leads to a viewing platform over a small hydroelectric diversion and cascade.
Olallie sits near the Iron Horse State Park Trail, part of the Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail, a long converted rail grade that parallels I-90. Cyclists and hikers can access gentle gravel miles with river and mountain views.
Day-use picnic areas along the South Fork Snoqualmie River provide shaded tables and river access for families. The riverbank is popular for wading in summer and for photography in any season.
Rattlesnake Ledge, a short drive west near North Bend, is a popular companion hike to Olallie. The climb is roughly 4 miles round trip to a granite viewpoint above Rattlesnake Lake and the Cedar River watershed.
Mount Si, just north of North Bend, offers a strenuous 8-mile round-trip climb with sweeping views of the Snoqualmie Valley. The large trailhead lot accommodates some larger vehicles but fills early on weekends.
Snoqualmie Falls is a 268-foot waterfall about 20 minutes west of Olallie and a classic Cascade foothills stop. A paved upper viewpoint and observation deck make it accessible for nearly all visitors.
Beautiful motorhome. Very clean. Well stocked kitchen, camp chairs etc. Made for a perfect week long getaway with family.

Olallie State Park, WA, United States
From Seattle, Olallie State Park is about a 35-mile drive east on Interstate 90, roughly 45 minutes in light traffic, with access from Exit 34 (Edgewick Road) for the Twin Falls trailhead. From North Bend the park is only about 6 miles east, while Ellensburg is roughly 75 miles east over Snoqualmie Pass at about 3,000 feet elevation, where winter chain requirements and weather delays can affect large RVs. RV drivers should note that trailhead parking lots are small with tight turnarounds, so larger motorhomes and trailers are better left at a nearby campground with day-use transport. The closest major airport for fly-and-rent travelers is Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, roughly 50 miles west.
