Late June through early September is the best window for RV travel, offering the mildest weather, longest daylight, and full campground services. July and August bring the warmest temperatures and drier conditions typical of the North Coast summer. Shoulder months of June and September are quieter, cooler, and often wetter, but still workable for self-contained RVs. August and September also coincide with salmon spawning in nearby Diana Creek, a seasonal highlight.
