Late June through early September offers the most reliable weather for visiting, with warm days, lower rainfall, and full access to nearby South Shore beaches. July and August are the busiest months in coastal Nova Scotia, so midweek visits are quieter. Shoulder months of late May, early June, and September bring cooler temperatures, fewer bugs, and open roads, which suits RV travellers touring the Lighthouse Route. Winter visits are not recommended as facilities are closed and coastal weather can be harsh.
