Late spring through early fall, roughly May to September, offers the driest weather, the warmest lake temperatures, and the longest daylight hours for hiking. July and August are the sunniest months and most popular with families, so weekday visits ease parking pressure in the main lot. Shoulder seasons in April and October bring cooler temperatures, lighter crowds, and lush forest after rains, though trails can be muddy. Winter visits are quiet and green but feature frequent drizzle typical of the Puget Sound lowlands.

The Beach Trail is the signature hike at Saint Edward, descending from the seminary lawn through second-growth forest to the Lake Washington shoreline. The route is about 1.5 miles round trip with a steady grade on the return climb.
Tour the restored 1931 seminary building, now operating as a historic lodge with public spaces, a cafe, and interpretive displays. The surrounding lawns are ideal for picnics and offer views toward Lake Washington.
Mountain bikers and hikers share a network of forested singletrack and old service roads covering more than 7 miles inside the park. The South Canyon and North Trail loop links several ravines for a moderate outing under towering conifers.
The Grand Lawn fronting the seminary is a broad, open meadow with picnic tables, shade trees, and room for games. It is the easiest spot in the park for families to relax within sight of the parking area.
A small freshwater beach at the base of the Beach Trail provides seasonal swimming and wading on Lake Washington. There are no lifeguards, so swimmers should use caution and watch for boat traffic offshore.
Family facilities near the main parking area include a large playground, open ball fields, and a gymnasium inside the seminary complex. These amenities make the park a convenient stop for RV families with kids.
The park's wooded ravines and wetlands support songbirds, woodpeckers, and raptors typical of the Puget Sound lowlands. Quiet morning walks on the Perimeter Loop offer good viewing opportunities.
Really awesome experience. Great little operation near the airport. Will definitely use them again!!

My wife and I were completely satisfied with our experience with RVezy and the camper we received from Tonyhai! We enjoyed 4 nights with zero problems. We will definitely use RVezy and Tonyhai next time we travel to Seattle and the beautiful state of Washington!

Saint Edward State Park, WA, United States
The park sits at 14445 Juanita Drive NE in Kenmore, about a 25 minute drive from downtown Seattle and roughly 15 minutes from Bellevue via Interstate 405 and Juanita Drive. Sea-Tac International Airport is the nearest major airport, approximately 35 to 45 miles south, making it the primary fly-and-rent hub for RV travelers. RV drivers should note that Juanita Drive NE is a narrow, winding two-lane arterial with tight turns and limited shoulders, and the main parking lot has defined stall sizes, so larger rigs should scout parking and consider arriving early. There are no mountain passes or tunnels on the approach from the Seattle metro area.
