July and August offer the warmest weather and the best swimming conditions, with Deer and Hicks Lake relatively warm during the summer, though these months also bring the biggest crowds and require advance reservations. Late June and early September serve as quieter shoulder periods with milder temperatures and fewer RVers competing for lakeside sites. Spring brings active wildlife and green forests, while fall delivers cooler, less busy camping before winter closures. RV renters should note that Fraser Valley summers can be humid with occasional thunderstorms.

Hicks Lake Trail is an easy forested loop hike around one of the park's main lakes. Sasquatch Park has two easy hiking trails and one interpretive trail, and the Hicks Lake Trail is approximately 4 km return with an estimated time of 1 1/2 hours. The trailhead has parking near the Hicks Lake day-use and campground area. bcparks.ca/sasquatch-park/
Beaver Pond Trail is a short interpretive trail known for wildlife viewing. Wildlife viewing opportunities are available on the Beaver Pond trail, and visitors should keep their distance when viewing animals. The flat terrain makes it suitable for most visitors. bcparks.ca/sasquatch-park/
Hicks and Deer Lakes are the park's signature boating destinations for RV campers. Hicks and Deer Lakes are ideal for motor-boating and canoeing, while Trout Lake provides a tranquil fishing experience. There are two paved boat launches in the park, at Hicks Lake and Green Point day-use areas. bcparks.ca/sasquatch-park/
Fishing is a popular activity across the park's pocket lakes. There is freshwater fishing for rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, and brook char, and anyone fishing in British Columbia must have an appropriate licence. Trout Lake is particularly quiet and well suited to canoe-based angling. bcparks.ca/sasquatch-park/
Hicks and Deer Lakes offer designated swimming areas with warmer water than nearby Harrison Lake. Deer and Hicks Lake are relatively warm during the summer but Harrison Lake can be cool, and Hicks Lake and Deer Lake have sandy beaches, while Harrison Lake has a rocky beach. There are no lifeguards on duty at provincial parks. bcparks.ca/sasquatch-park/
Green Point is a lakefront day-use area on Harrison Lake with picnic facilities and a boat launch. Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available at the Green Point day-use area, two paved boat launches are located in the park including Green Point, and the Greenpoint boat launch is open all year. There is no overnight parking at Green Point. bcparks.ca/sasquatch-park/
Harrison Lake supports open-water activities for stronger swimmers and experienced boaters. There are waterskiing opportunities available on Harrison Lake and there are windsurfing opportunities available on Harrison Lake. High winds can come up quickly on Harrison Lake, so conditions should be monitored. bcparks.ca/sasquatch-park/
We had a great time staying at Bethany and Tyler’s RV! It was beautiful and had everything our family needed. Great for kids. Communication was easy and they are very nice people. Can’t wait to book for next year :)

Quinn and his family made the drop off and pick up a great experience. This was our first rental on the app, and they were very patient with us. Thank you!

Quinn was excellent, kind and helpful. Genuinely wants you to enjoy his RV and have a fantastic experience - which we did! I had several questions along the way which Quinn always took the time to answer. RV is clean and well equipped. Highly recommend Quinn and the Adventure Seeker.

Sasquatch Provincial Park, BC, Canada
Sasquatch Park is located off Highway 7, six kilometres north of Harrison Hot Springs, and visitors follow the signs through Harrison Hot Springs and Green Point. From Vancouver the drive is roughly 140 kilometres and takes about two hours via Highway 1 and Highway 7, while Chilliwack is approximately 40 minutes south. The access road from Harrison Hot Springs is narrow and winding with some steep sections, so larger Class A motorhomes and long fifth-wheels should drive slowly and use pull-outs. The nearest major airport for fly-and-rent trips is Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
