Best time to visit Sasquatch Provincial Park

July and August offer the warmest weather and the best swimming conditions, with Deer and Hicks Lake relatively warm during the summer, though these months also bring the biggest crowds and require advance reservations. Late June and early September serve as quieter shoulder periods with milder temperatures and fewer RVers competing for lakeside sites. Spring brings active wildlife and green forests, while fall delivers cooler, less busy camping before winter closures. RV renters should note that Fraser Valley summers can be humid with occasional thunderstorms.

Quinn was excellent, kind and helpful. Genuinely wants you to enjoy his RV and have a fantastic experience - which we did! I had several questions along the way which Quinn always took the time to answer. RV is clean and well equipped. Highly recommend Quinn and the Adventure Seeker.

How to get to Sasquatch Provincial Park

Sasquatch Park is located off Highway 7, six kilometres north of Harrison Hot Springs, and visitors follow the signs through Harrison Hot Springs and Green Point. From Vancouver the drive is roughly 140 kilometres and takes about two hours via Highway 1 and Highway 7, while Chilliwack is approximately 40 minutes south. The access road from Harrison Hot Springs is narrow and winding with some steep sections, so larger Class A motorhomes and long fifth-wheels should drive slowly and use pull-outs. The nearest major airport for fly-and-rent trips is Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
