Ross Lake Campground is a vehicle-accessible front-country campground at the south end of the Silver Skagit Road, on the shore of the Ross Lake reservoir. RVers can reach sites by gravel road and enjoy lakeshore views in July and August when the reservoir is at full pool, though water recedes sharply outside peak summer. bcparks.ca/skagit-valley-park/
The Skagit River Trail is a 14.3 km one-way route with little elevation change that runs between Sumallo Grove parking and 26 Mile Bridge parking on the Silver-Skagit Road. Most of the trail lies within Skagit Valley Park and offers easy access from RV-friendly trailhead lots, making it well suited for day hikes of any length. bcparks.ca/ec-manning-park/
Ross Lake offers fishing and paddling against a backdrop of North Cascades peaks during the brief July and August window when the reservoir is at full pool on the Canadian side. Anglers should review the BC freshwater fishing regulations, and paddlers should be prepared for changing winds and fluctuating shorelines. bcparks.ca/skagit-valley-park/
The Skagit Valley supports a wide range of native wildlife and is used by more than 150 bird species as nesting habitat, migration corridor, or wintering ground. Mule and Blacktail deer, black bears, and common loons and mergansers on Ross Lake are frequent sightings from roadside pullouts and campgrounds. bcparks.ca/skagit-valley-park/
The Silver Skagit Road is the scenic gravel access route into the park, originally built to remove timber before the flooding behind Ross Dam. Driven slowly, it is a destination in itself with valley-bottom forest, river views, and access to multiple trailheads and day-use areas. bcparks.ca/skagit-valley-park/
Whitworth Horse Camp and the surrounding meadow are named for a homesteading family who built a ten-room ranch house there in the early 1900s before abandoning the site. The area today offers open meadow scenery, history, and quiet walking near the campground. bcparks.ca/skagit-valley-park/
Silvertip is a rustic vehicle-accessible campground along the Skagit River with treed sites suitable for self-contained RVs. The surrounding area offers river access, fishing, and quiet forest walks away from the busier Ross Lake end of the park. bcparks.ca/skagit-valley-park/
This is the second time we’ve rented from Tyler and Bethany, and it certainly won’t be the last. Wonderful people, great trailer, and an easy, seamless experience every time.

We had a great time staying at Bethany and Tyler’s RV! It was beautiful and had everything our family needed. Great for kids. Communication was easy and they are very nice people. Can’t wait to book for next year :)

Quinn and his family made the drop off and pick up a great experience. This was our first rental on the app, and they were very patient with us. Thank you!

Quinn was excellent, kind and helpful. Genuinely wants you to enjoy his RV and have a fantastic experience - which we did! I had several questions along the way which Quinn always took the time to answer. RV is clean and well equipped. Highly recommend Quinn and the Adventure Seeker.

Skagit Valley Provincial Park, BC, Canada
From Vancouver, the park lies about 150 km east in the North Cascade Mountains, roughly a 2.5 to 3 hour drive via Highway 1 to Hope, then south on Silver Skagit Road. From Highway 1, take Exit 168 or 170 to Flood-Hope Road and follow signs to Silver Skagit Road, which begins paved and turns to a loose-surface gravel road for most of its length, so RV drivers should reduce speed and watch for washboard and oncoming traffic. The nearest sani-station is in Hope, the closest fuel and supply town, and Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is the most practical fly-and-rent gateway.
