Shoulder months such as May, September, and October bring cooler nights, lighter crowds, and excellent cycling weather on the Apple Capital Loop Trail. How to get to Wenatchee Confluence State Park

The park sits on the north edge of Wenatchee, Washington, reached via US-2 and Easy Street, about 2 hours 20 minutes east of Seattle over Stevens Pass and roughly 2 hours 30 minutes west of Spokane. RV drivers crossing the Cascades on US-2 should plan for long mountain grades, tight curves, and winter chain requirements at Stevens Pass, and US-97 over Blewett Pass is another steep option. There are no tunnels or weight-restricted bridges on the direct approach, but fuel stops are limited between mountain towns. The nearest airport for fly-and-rent trips is Pangborn Memorial Airport in East Wenatchee, with larger service through Seattle-Tacoma International.
