Campgrounds and RV parks near Oriole Beach, FL

The white-sand beaches of Santa Rosa Island are the main draw. Fort Pickens, a pentagonal masonry fort built to defend Pensacola Bay, sits about a mile from the campground of the same name and is open for self-guided exploration. Swimming, snorkeling, surf fishing, and paddling are all accessible from Gulf and bay-side beaches nearby. Hiking and biking trails run through the Fort Pickens area, and the shallow bay waters are well suited to kayaks and paddleboards. Off the island, families can visit the National Naval Aviation Museum, the Pensacola Lighthouse, and the Gulf Breeze Zoo. Anglers can fish from the Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier without a Florida saltwater license.

Spring and fall offer the most comfortable conditions for RV travel in the Oriole Beach area.
