You're allowed to park an RV on the street in Saskatoon for up to 36 hours as long as it isn't over 20 feet (6 metres) in length. If your motorhome exceeds 20 feet, park it at the Gordon Howe Campground or a nearby Walmart.

Searching for an excursion that’ll keep your kids happy during your RV rental in Saskatoon? The Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo features dozens of local and exotic species, which are sure to impress your whole crew. See a gang of unruly meerkats, spot elusive lynx, and come face-to-face with ferocious grizzly bears, and much more.

Perhaps the most unmissable attraction in Saskatoon is Wanuskewin Heritage Park. A cultural and historical center for the First Nations, the Wanuskewin Heritage Park has been a gathering place for indigenous people for over 6,000 years. It's also home to some of the most important archeological discoveries relating to the indigenous people of the northern Plains. Discover art exhibits at the Wanuskewin Galleries and sample some indigenous food overlooking the prairies at the on-site restaurant.

Campers going hiking should stroll down the Meewasin Trail. This 50-mile (80 kilometre) trail runs along both sides of the South Saskatchewan River and through the best parks in the city, including Wanuskewin Heritage Park and the Beaver Creek Conservation Area. While walking along the trail, kill some time spotting local bird species or stop to fish on the river.
