At 19 feet long and 9 feet high, there aren't many places that Vandalf can't go, park, or settle down for food, entertainment, or a great night's sleep. With on-board solar and propane, you always have access to a cold fridge full of food, stovetop cooking, hot water, interior and exterior lights, and 12v and USB power. Of course you can always hook up to shore power for full use of the 120v outlets. Inside you will find plenty of natural and LED lighting and plenty of storage below the bed and in the cabinets. Full swivel captains chairs, two additional seats, and a table provide a great place to eat, play a game, or plan your next stop. The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator and freezer, a 2-burner propane stove, a sink and lots of storage. Vandalf also boasts a full wet bath with a grey water cassette toilet (that empties from outside the van). IMPORTANT - a cassette toilet is suitable for pee only, NO poop!!!! The bath also doubles as a closet or warms to serve as a drying room! The sleeping areas consist of a full/ queen size bed in the back of the van, as well as an easy-peasy pop-top that opens to a full bed up top. This bed is even longer than the main bed and will accomodate up to 350 lbs, so you can bring along your road-tripping besties or your adventurous kids. While there isn't an on-board AC unit, we do have two awesome 12v fans, so you can depend on a breeze anytime. And, if you have the pop-top open, it generates quite the air flow. Additionally, you can enjoy the van and all the fresh air your adventure has to offer with screening for the side and rear door areas with magnetic closures. All of the fresh air and none of the bugs! All windows have black out covers so you can opt for absolute privacy no matter where you are. If you don’t it will cause the sensors to not read properly and you will be charged to flush out the black tank. I suggest you fill the tank, nearly full with water, before you dump so you get a good flush of the tank. After you empty, refill with at least a 1/2 tank of water and empty again. 5. Ensure all doors, cabinets and drawers are closed and locked before driving RV (this includes all undercarriage compartments, refrigerator, overhead vents in hallway and bathrooms, bathroom doors, master bedroom door, etc.) to avoid damage while the RV is in motion. 6. Refuel Policy: RV should be returned with (at least) the same amount of gas provided at pick up. 7. Dumping Policy: Renter is responsible for emptying both gray and black (septic) tanks before returning RV to owner. Empty Black first, then Grey. Use plenty of water with the black tank. Unless you elect to pay for sewage dumping. 8. Towing Policy: Towing will only be allowed through RVshare insurance. 9. Appliances: The A/C, generator, radio, microwave, stove, oven, television, etc. are convenience items. While not expected; If any malfunctions should occur with any of these items, NO compensation will be made to you. These items are electronic and can break unexpectedly. For assistance, you are advised to consult with ownership of an issue arises. 10. RV Content: Renters agree to return the RV with all original contents in place to include any and all convenience items, inventory items, and any optional items requested in this rental agreement. Again, don't sweat these details upon returning as we know it may not be convenient for you. The RV will be fully fueled at pick up. This is a diesel powered RV so you may pay a little more for fuel but will greatly appreciate the efficiency of having to fuel up less often. If the RV is retuned less than full, we can fuel it back up and have it ready for the next renter, you will pay for the cost of the fuel and a small fee for our time. We also provide a Road Side Assistance Kit and a first aid kit. Please use these as you see fit. All electrical, water and sewer connections will be provided. RV Toilet Paper will be supplied because regular TP should not be used. Holding tank treatment will be supplied and should be added to the toilet after each dump-out. 4 Camping Chairs provided. We also have other camping equipment available upon request. Use of our Hitch-mounted tray-type bike rack to transport 1-4 bikes or a Hitch-mounted cargo rack with 16 Cubic Ft. water proof cargo bag for bringing along your beach chairs and toys, baby stroller, dog crate, BBQ grill, extra camping gear or golf clubs.
