Behold the majesty of Western Canada in our newer custom-camperized 2017 Ford Transit Van. Looking for a camper van that's comfortable, easy to drive and Instagrammably chic? This is it! Our beautifully rustic yet modern home away from home seats two in front-facing seat-belted captain's chairs that are comfortable even for long drives. (This van drives a lot like a minivan so you don't need to be afraid of getting from A to B.) This is perfect for first time RV'ers or novice outdoor enthusiasts. **Please read RVezy's cancellation and rental age policies closely. They are very inflexible and rigid and are set by the company, not us. Know before you go!** When you arrive to our self-built camper van oasis, pull open the wide sliding door and take in the fresh air, look inside at the tile backsplash, custom wood countertops, and cabinetry with ample closed and open storage. A built-in Dometic sink with flip up/down lid is ready for washing up and the water reservoir will be topped up with water. There's plenty of storage for your food in the cabinets, as well as the TruckFridge with small freezer (that can truly make ice, and keep ice cream frozen!). There's air conditioning for those hot summer prairie evenings plus a built-in heater with thermostat will keep the van comfortable even during cool (or yes, cold!) Rocky mountain nights. When it's time for bed, lay back in comfort on the Queen sized mattress (no futons or foam cushions here!) this is a legit mattress from Leesa Mattresses). Our secure built-in dog kennel under the bed platform latches shut so your dog (even two!) can travel safely and comfortably too. Want to pack your bike, camping necessities or some climbing or skiing gear? There's ample storage space under the raised bed platform for all that and more. If you're looking to enjoy the wilds of Alberta, BC or Saskatchewan, this is your getaway van. Our camper van comes loaded with everything you need to enjoy the open road or mountain campsites; linens, cutlery, basic food prep tools, plates, cups and towels. A propane stove/hob in the van lets you cook in comfort if it’s too cool to BBQ over an open campfire, but it’s also great for making hot coffee before you’re ready to throw open the doors and take on the wilderness. (See our add-ons section for including additional needs like BBQ, camp stove, outdoor pump shower, walking poles, bear spray rental, National Park Pass rental and camp chair upgrade, and other services.) Two basic collapsible canvas camp chairs are included. Ask us about an upgrade to zero gravity folding chaise loungers! The van is powered with a 12 volt DC battery powered by solar panesl on the roof, which will run the super-cool colour-changing LED lights with remote control, fridge and MaxFan ventilation, as well as the built in mini furnace. The battery will run approximately 12-18 hours depending on your use and other factors. You can easily recharge it by driving. Please note we can make no guarantees about having a cold fridge or reliable power 24/7 during your stay as battery power depends on a number of factors such as sunlight, driving time and usage of power across the entire vehicle. Also important to note: The Air Conditioner will run ONLY if connected to shore power (on available campsites/RV spaces, on your dime, requires 30 amp service). While we do have a maximum daily mileage, we want you to enjoy your trip, so please message us to inquire if you'd like to go a little further. Check in or pickup time is 3pm MT - 8pm MT. Check out or return time is 11am MT. Late fees may apply. Absolutely no smoking or candle use inside the van. We highly recommend getting RVezy's roadside assistance package. By declining the package, you acknowledge you have other roadside coverage such as AAA, or will be responsible for towing fees to the nearest garage. Please note that by going beyond our daily mileage limit you may also be responsible for towing fees to return the vehicle to within the appropriate distance, in the unlikely event of a breakdown. It probably goes without saying, but this van departs from and must be returned to Calgary, Alberta.
