Aman's Minni Winnie

We rented Minnie Winnie for five nights to tour the Canadian Rockies. While the RV ultimately got us through the trip safely and we had a wonderful vacation overall, several issues negatively impacted our experience. Upon arrival for pickup, Amandeep was unavailable to provide a full orientation of the RV's features and operation. As first-time users of this particular vehicle, a comprehensive walkthrough would have been very helpful. From the moment we picked up the RV, the Check Engine light was illuminated and remained on for the duration of our trip, occasionally flashing. When we raised the concern, we were assured that it was related to a sensor issue and that the vehicle was safe to drive. However, while travelling through the mountains, the RV struggled to maintain speed and climb steep grades. It also appeared hesitant to shift gears at times, which made for an unsettling driving experience. We were also disappointed with the overall cleanliness of the RV upon pickup. There was dirty laundry left in the kitchen sink, toothpaste residue and spit in the bathroom sink, and splatters on the bathroom mirror. Even more concerning, both the refrigerator and freezer contained mold and required thorough cleaning before they could be used for food storage. Several advertised amenities were either missing or not functioning properly. For example, there was no toaster provided, the coffee maker did not work correctly, and the generator only powered the lights, not the electrical outlets as expected. When renting an RV—much like renting a cottage or vacation property—there is a reasonable expectation that it will be clean, sanitized, and ready for use upon arrival. Unfortunately, this RV did not meet even basic cleanliness standards. In fact, we returned the RV in significantly cleaner condition than when we received it. Because of the condition of the vehicle, we were uncomfortable using the provided linens and instead borrowed linens, pillows, and comforters from family members for the duration of our trip. Despite these concerns, we still enjoyed our vacation, and Minnie Winnie got us safely through the Canadian Rockies. However, it was disappointing to spend valuable vacation time cleaning the RV before we could begin our journey and to have ongoing concerns about the vehicle's performance throughout the trip. On a positive note, Amandeep was very responsive during the rental period. He was easy to reach by text message and consistently replied in a timely manner whenever questions or concerns arose. Overall, while the trip itself was memorable, the condition and preparedness of the RV fell short of expectations and detracted from what should have been a seamless vacation experience.
