Great to work with

Since we have to leave a review to close out this trip, I'll give my honest opinion. First, the host communicated well and was available for calls. Second, he might be a little too nice on the fact that he allowed a Burning Man trip in his RV and didn't clean up after or charge the prior renter for the excessive mess and we had to deal with it on our trip. And since Rvezy has you going through their technical checks, you don't have time to search through RV cabinets, drawers, bunks where we were left with surprises. Up to the point where our family was forced out of the RV at border inspection in Texas because the prior renters had contraband. Thank God we took 4 hours to clean this RV before leaving. And there's no compensation for that nor from Rvezy because before you even get the RV you sign off weeks earlier that you accept the RV in it's current condition before you see it and that should change. All checks and forms should be when you get the actual vehicle. Or else the host doesn't have to do much on their end. Third, we had a water pump issue in which the host was available right away to try troubleshooting the issue, when nothing could be done we were told the water pump failed. We spent almost 3 days on the road without water only for the host to tell us he did research after troubleshooting with us and found out it was something else. He never called us to try out any new methods. So when we called him on this, he claims nothing was ever wrong and blamed us for not knowing how to work his vehicle he couldn't even help us with at the time. Fourth, the host had so much of their family stuff in the RV that there was no way for us to store our belongs while on a 8 day trip. We had to move their items into bags: dirty blankets with dog hair, toys, excessive kitchen items and more into our garage so we could put our stuff in the RV. We were glamping for 8 days at an RV resort with 5 kids. We needed space! It was a little too personal and oversupply. Maybe other renters might enjoy this fact. The host allowed use of all their things which we didn't do. But for those wanting to get up and go... Proper maintenance would have given my family of 7 a better experience. I wish I could say better things but I want to give an honest review so things can change with the host. Again the host himself came off as nice, but in the end, the RV didn't work for us. Advice for all renters, Do NOT sign any form until you see the RV, not even the agreement. The app will constantly remind you to do it, so contact Rvezy or you take whatever comes.
