2012 Forest River Rockwood Freedom 1640 LTD
Allan's Rockwood Freedom pop-up camper by Forest River is the perfect little adventure trailer for you on those camping trips with your family.
Equipped with electric brakes, leveling jacks, electric lift system, dining table, fridge, sink, heater, stove, heated mattresses, awning and extra storage, all the essentials you need to make some great memories. Equipped with a deep cycle battery and portable solar panel to keep your adventure going when off grid.
A wide range of vehicles can tow this trailer as long as you have a trailer connector, hitch and mount with a 2 inch ball.
In terms of trailer connectors, renters must have either:
Option 1) 7 way blade connector (best option) - this will be a direct fit to the camper's 7 way connector which provides the added benefit of enabling battery charging while connected to the vehicle and electric brakes (if outfitted with brake controller)
Option 2) 4 way flat connector (I will supply a 4 way to 7 way adapter) - this provide the minimum safety requirement by powering the trailer lights.
In terms of hitch receiver options:
Option 1) 2 inch receiver (I will supply adjustable hitch mount with 2' inch ball if needed)
Option 2) 2 1/2 inch receiver hitch (I will supply a 2 1/2 to 2 inch receiver adapter and adjustable hitch mount with 2' inch ball if needed)
Option 3) 1 1/4 receiver (I can supply a class 2 1 /14 hitch mount with 2' inch ball with a 3 inch rise if needed)
Additional complimentary amenities upon request include:
-Adjustable 2' hitch mount with 2' ball with various rise or drop lengths to fit almost any vehicle
-Pots, pans, plates and cutlery
-Camping chairs
-5 gallon water fill jug
-10 gallon grey water tank
-Linens
-30amp to 15 amp wall plug
-15 foot retractable extension cord
-Trailer accessories for levelling and securing camper
-Solar panel to charge camper battery when off grid

-Gas generator / inverter with 30amp outlet

First off , Allan is amazing - he made sure we had the proper set up weeks before departure and even tired to accommodate our civic with hitch and wiring. We pivoted to the truck - but nonetheless we were very appreciative. He was so helpful with the reservation and even dropped off the camper. Thoroughly went through the setup with us and our dog definitely approved! The set up was exceptional! We were truly impressed with the proper tools. The trailer tour and instruction booklet were very helpful in setting up. Allan included all the tools you could possibly need. He was quick to reach out and make sure I had everything I needed. He even had an assortment of hitch accessories to make sure towing was as safe as could be.
