1973 Forest River Shamrock
This 1973 Forest River Shamrock pull-behind camper has been modernly upgraded and refinished top to bottom! This camper features pine tongue-and-groove siding throughout, giving an iconic cabin on wheels feeling!
This is the perfect camper for a couple or small family- with one pullout double bed, one table that folds down into a double, plus a double bed that comes down from the ceiling to convert into a bunkbed.
This camper also features a private toilet closet, stove top, mini fridge, and reading lights with integrated usb plugs (accommodates both usb and C-plug).
The camper has a solar panel and has the ability to run lights, small electronics, and fans throughout the night without the need to plug in! (Does also have a plug-in though for use at powered sites!)
Logistics:
-30 gallon water tank (will fill up before pick up if requested- but suggested to fill up at campgrounds due to increased weight for towing)
- no onboard black or grey tank, external holding tank included (must transport in back of truck, can not be towed behind trailer. Does have tow bar so can be towed to dumping station)
- space heater included (also has an AC unit)
- bed linens and kitchen linens included (no extra fee)
- dishes, cutlery, coffee maker included
- propane tanks included (will come filled, guest is responsible for filling up prior to return)
2 inch trailer hitch required, 16ft in length, half-ton towable.
Sleeps 4 adults in two double beds, can sleep an additional 2 children in the bunk. (Bunk has low clearance and is not suitable for adults or teenagers.)
Add ons available:
-13x13 pop up canopy; our most recommended add-on option! Perfect for rain and sun protection and super easy setup!
-outdoor shower (no hot water); includes privacy pop up tent and shower head hook up (great for muddy feet or paws)!
- bike rack (fits 2 bikes)
- portable propane BBQ
- portable propane camp stove (1 burner)
- Outdoor convenience package: includes outdoor rug, two seater lawn chair, and small folding table.
- gas generator; perfect if you’re in an unpowered site and need to use a lot of power!
- propane refill prepayment; don’t want to worry about refilling the propane tanks? Choose this option and you can return the tanks empty!

We are a young couple with an awesome little French Bulldog named Glenn. 🐶 We spent a lot of time and hard work to fully renovate our camper from the inside out! We want to share our camper with others who will enjoy it and appreciate its beauty while getting out and enjoying the great outdoors! 🌲

We had a wonderful trip with this camper! It was super clean when we picked it up, and it provided a cozy and fun home base for our family of four, including two little kids and our pup. It kept us warm and dry through some rainy weather, and made the whole experience so much easier and more enjoyable.
Melissa and Arden were fantastic to work with, very accommodating with pick-up and drop-off, and the instructional videos they provided were super helpful, especially for first-time renters.
The space is definitely best suited for smaller families or those with young kids, as it's a bit tight inside, but it was perfect for our needs. We'd absolutely recommend this rental!
Camper was clean and super cute. Beds were comfy and we brought our own.pillows and linens which I'd always recommend whenever I rent. Overall great experience and the hosts were 5 stars!
Melissa and Arden were great to deal with. Arden explained what I needed to know upon pickup. The RV is well-appointed for lots of different camping options, which makes this unit quite versatile. We were camping in an electrified site, and I was able to switch from solar to pole power easily. Being it's an older camper, it's not airtight against dusty roads, but I know Arden is looking into solutions to help seal it more effectively. The beds were comfortable, we didn't end up using the AC because it was cool enough at night and the windows and roof vent provided good air flow. We didn't use the stove but it was nice to have the option. Having all the plates, pots, utensils and such provided was handy; especially the pans for cooking over our campfire. I'd recommend this for a small family; the top bunk is a bit tight for big preteens and teens, but I could see kids having a blast up there.
