Communication and booking through RVezy were smooth, and the owner even offered early pickup which was very helpful. We met him at the South Common Walmart parking lot, but the pickup felt rushed and I regretted not being able to see the camper beforehand. There were several issues: it wasn’t cleaned before hand and it smelled musty, the light cover above the license plate was missing, two stabilizer legs were bent (one held together with bungees and a strap), the screen door slider was broken and missing a piece, two soft spots in the floor (bathroom and near the fridge), mold on the bed platform screens, duct tape holding the bottom stove‑area door in place, and a door under the sink hanging off one hinge. The battery was strapped down with ratchet straps. The tanks levels showed empty at first, but after driving 3.5 hours and setting up, the black tank showed 2/3 full meaning I hauled the previous renter’s waste. There also wasn’t a proper septic hose to empty it, so I had to haul it all the way back home 3.5 hours. After dropping it off at the owner’s home (he wasn’t there and had forgotten I was coming), I sent a refund request for the septic and cleaning since I did pre pay the $100 septic fee. He later apologized and said he was told the tank had been emptied, and I did receive the refund for the septic and cleaning fees. Overall, the pictures didn’t fully match the inside conditions, maintenance, or prep. Renters should be aware of these issues before booking.

- GaylaL M.août 2025The host was not present when we picked up the trailer, but throughout our trip, Dang was available over phone calls and was always professional. All in all, the trailer was adequate. Beds were comfortable . The fridge , stove, out door stove, radio, and heater worked great. The water pump was very sporadic and the tank gauges didn’t work. We took possession of it directly from the previous renters, so it was tidy, but not clean The advert that was up when we booked the camper did not indicate that it came without supplies such as bedding or pots and pans.

Jenny N.août 2021Dang was pleasant and helpful, was quick to return messages and answer questions. The trailer was easy to pull for a first time RV tower and perfect for small families. It was a little older and rough around the edges, but if you are not looking for luxury it's a good fit. We liked the hybrid aspect where the bunk areas felt like you were sleeping in a tent.

While the trailer did the trick for this camping trip, some repairs to the trailer are needed to keep it safe. It was mentioned to the owner that the fuse panel needs a cover, and the entry steps need to be repaired. The holding tank sensors also need to be repaired/replaced as they aren’t giving accurate readings of the tank levels. It’s also worth mentioning there is limited storage available in the unit as the owner does leave personal items in the trailer.

The cushions need to be replaced as they were quite hard to sleep on. The furnace and charging system needs maintenance the levelling jacks need to be replaced as well, as one of them was inoperable for us. Needs a new step as well. All of these issues were mentioned to the owner and hopefully they will be taken care of for future renters.

The pick up was very smooth as was the drop off. Once we got set up we totally enjoyed the camper, especially the AC during the heat wave!! I would recommend renting from Dang.

We broke a a plastic clip on the awning arm when setting it up and some how the brake away cable bin broke. I was only charged 36.23 for the parts which I thought was fair. Would definitely rent from him again.

The doors on the cabinets were falling off, we could not lock the trailer because the lock was broken, and the trailer wasn’t cleaned. My wife spent a hour and half to clean it. I did address this with him, and he did give us back our cleaning fee.

Warren M.août 2020The trailer pulled fine and was easy to tow. The $100 cleaning fee is crazy considering when we picked it up it hadn’t been cleaned. We had to clean it. Also we were told it was going right back out after we dropped it off and the owner wasn’t even home to clean it. He did offer half back and did email transfer that back, but we essentially had to pay $50 for cleaning it ourselves. There was junk and an old toothbrush left in there. Also propane was completely empty. I get propane is not provided but the tanks being empty is the same as renting a car and having the gas empty. I’m fine with bringing it back full but it should start full. Thankfully it was hot and we were ok without the furnace. Cupboards were all full of random stuff even though we were told to bring everything. On pick up I was told the awning is easy and I’d just have to deal with the strap someone else had tied up. I insisted he show me luckily. Would have been a huge pain in the campground with no ladder to get it working. Not sure what really works - didn’t use the propane but the stove does light. Didn’t try water in sink. Lots of storage inside under seats on dinette and under couch/bunk bed bottom. Spacious closet and upper cabinets for clothes and snacks. Pick up and drop off were easy with Dang.

Chris K.juin 2020I give this trailer overall 3/5. Positives: Dang was a very helpful and a friendly host. He made the whole experience very smooth. The trailer is quite easy to pull. (You need a 2" ball, I had a Class 2 hitch, and 7 Pin Trailer electrical hookup) Negatives: This is a dated trailer, which I expected, but the overall condition was generally on the poor side. I spent some time before our trip fixing up the twine trim and various other little spots. We also had to spend some time cleaning out cabinets and the floors. The door does not lock (which I found to be quite annoying as we had to pack away all our valuables in the car while we were away from camp. There was a large leak in the front window. Fortunately I caught it early on and was able to put a large bucket to contain the water. The spare tire is unusable. The tire has been stripped of rubber (my guess is from the mounting bracket supplied to mount the tire to the front of the trailer) and the cables are showing or frayed. I would be very concerned if it came to using that tire. Overall, this trailer needs to have some work done, but still created a positive (and dry) weekend in the woods.- Chad M.juin 2020All the systems in the trailer functioned well. Easy to maneuver. Trailer, as Dang said, is a glorified tent with some little extras. It is older and the age is showing, his description there is accurate. The outside has wear and tear, missing caps and some damage here and there. All balance legs work but one is held up with a bungee when cranked in. Fridge and freezer work great! Lights work. Did not use the water, the sewer, the stove, the microwave, the radio, the bathroom or either of the fold out beds so cannot comment on these. Has a spare tire. Ball hitch is 2.5 inches. Running lights work but lots of light covers missing. Is a round 6 prong plug in for the lights. Bring your own propane tanks, the ones provided are old. Battery had enough juice for the weekend for the lights without a recharge from the truck. Pulls great behind a 2500 diesel, I’d say it’d be good behind a mid size SUV. For the price 100% worth it! Check with your own insurance before purchasing theirs, you may be covered and saves huge!
- Nadine R.mai 2025Completely disappointed. The trailer was not safe, let alone in working condition. The trailer breakaway line was broken and held together with duct tape. Luckily we had one that we used. No batteries in the smoke alarms, the power and heat did not work, steps to get in the trailer were rusted out and could not be accessed, no supplies were provided - not even toilet paper, the awning was broken, and had to supply our own propane and the water tank was not even filled. We actually returned the trailer a day earlier because the experience was so bad and uncomfortable.
